Greater Tome of Learning 50% First Time Bonus

Hi everyone,

recently i received a blessed "Menace of the Underdark Standard Edition" pack. Since i restarted this game on a f2p account not too long ago it really helps out BIG TIME. (Huge Thanks to my guildie)
So i have got a question about the first time 50% bonus the tome rewards.

I am about to hit level 20 and i wanted to start getting the tokens to get a Heroic Heart to true reincarnate. Before that though I am planning to get the favor of the newly aquired Quests.
Do I loose the Tome 50% Bonus on my 2nd life if i say do House P Carnival on Elite for favor on my current high level character?

I tried to find any information about this on DDOWIKi and I also used the search option but after the first 5 pages i figured it would be faster to just open a new thread.

No.

The bonus applies every life, for quests that you are under 20 when running, as long as you get any base XP for the quest.

And if you want to get the tome of learning bonus on epic quests, you'll need an Epic Tome of Learning. You character can have both the heroic and epic tomes, and they aren't lost on reincarnation.

So if I started my toon on a heroic tome then used an epic tome when I hit epic levels if I epic TR and follow with a heroic TR, the heroic tome will become active again and is not lost?

Correct, and once you get back to epic levels the epic one will kick back in.

And here I have always hesitated to heroic TR once I had used an epic tome. Not sure where I got the idea that the tome was permanently replaced.

A few years ago any tomes you had on your character would be lost upon reincarnation, people would hoard ability tomes before a TR. I believe that the highest ones were +3 or +4? There were no XP or skill tomes back then... maybe you got the idea from that period of time?
