i ransacked the pyarmid chest 6 times and still no bow

It's random and not in a good way. I got one and it was by pure luck. Bow and Q-staff are what I was after.

I pulled epic Spinal Tap about a week ago, so yeah it drops.

I've been running ToEE pt one, about once a day since mid december on EH, mostly for essence bearing random loot. So call it 60 runs. From rare chests I've pulled Leopard's Chill, Spinal Tap, a couple of WoWs, Horseshoecrab shield, mushroom cap, and gobs of ToEE weapon blanks.

Of course what I want to drop is the bow.

I pull a named item roughly 1 in 15 runs (full clears) of both pt 1 and 2. Might be better in reaper - haven't been running toee as much lately.

More efficient farming is clearing floor 1 of pt 1 as well as farming pyramid chest. I would suggest multiboxing if you can - or bringing a full group of friends/guildies.

There are a lot of named weapons that can drop, so yeah. The name items are rare enough that it helps if you have another purpose to run the quest. For me it was collecting essence & eToEE seems like the best source for that. Named item drops are just gravy.
