Hi - we are going to try to run the heroic Ascension Chamber raid every late late night Saturday on Ghallanda at 2am (est) ((meaning technically Sunday early morning)).
Not sure if this is helpful, but that means:
11pm pst (saturday)
2am est (sunday)
7am gmt (sunday)
5pm aest (australian est) (sunday)
Anyone is welcome. For now, we will be running it on elite from level range 16-30 (no xp) *.
If anyone needs help getting their sigil frame pieces and/or flagging litany 4x, send me a PM or post a reply to this thread and let me know your character name and when you will be on.
if you have the opportunity, read this guide for the Ascension Chamber raid:
http://wizard-detectives.com/ddo/abbott.html
..
* at some point down the line, we were considering to run the raid on reaper 1 skull difficult if anyone is interested. Since characters also cannot enter Reaper dungeons if they are Epic level and the heroic ascension chamber raid is not epic, this means that we would need to set the level range from 15-19 in order to run reaper.

Hi - we had a successful run tonight; we started a bit later (around 4 am est) with one failed attempt before the completion.
There were 3 named items that dropped:
Circle of Hatred with mythic +1 boost
2 x Vile Blasphemy, one of them with a mythic +1 boost
From what I understand (someone in the raid party had tested this), the mythic boost remains on the item after it has been upgraded, which I was surprised to learn.
Anyway, really hoping we can get a few more people interested in joining us for the weekly heroic Ascension Chamber raid.
If you need any help with flagging the 4 x Litany of the Dead runs or else getting a complete sigil frame, send me a PM or reply here.
Here is an additional guide for the Ascension Chamber raid from EllisDee37 that would be helpful to read in addition to the one from before:

Thanks, we have been running the Ascension Chamber raid every late Saturday night (around 2-4 am est Sunday mornings that is). We had a failed run followed by a successful run this past weekend, with 2 named items dropping, Enduring Conviction and Purging the Pantheon, one of which was mythic. We are still putting the lfm for level range 16-30 (we have not gotten to a point where we can try running the raid at reaper difficulty).
this week, we are going to try putting up an additional raid lfm on Tuesday evenings a bit earlier at around 9-10 pm est, and welcome any Ghallalifianadians that are flagged. If you need to complete your sigil frame and/or run litany x4, send me a PM or reply to this thread.
We will still run the raid this late Saturday night (early Sunday) as well -- we were thinking on Saturday to do some tile room training before the actual raid, since Lazertron has graciously volunteered to help people learn that puzzle room.
These videos have been linked/referenced before in the ddo forums, but might be helpful to those wanting to run the raid:

we had a successful run of the ascension chamber raid tonight, we started later than scheduled (finishing at 1:30 pm est) because we flagged a few people running the litanies before.
it was another night where we failed (in tiles) and decided to restart, and did better in the 2nd run. I managed to get through the tiles, and then nerve-wrackingly had to lead someone else through the other side. I led 2 other people to their plummeting deaths, but one person got through.
Deific Diadem
Enduring Conviction
Enduring Conviction (mythic +2)
Breeze
we will be running the raid again this coming late late Saturday night 2am est (Sunday morning), and as mentioned before Lazertron will be helping people to learn the tiles puzzle.

Yeah thanks for the help flagging! If you guys run any earlier raids like last night, let me know, as 2 EST is midnight my time, and usually have church sunday mornings. Thanks.

we had another series of heroic ascension chamber raids tonight, starting a bit earlier because we were able to join with Lynn's group, and we managed to do a series of 4 runs (not including a failed first attempt), average time was about 15-20 minutes:
1st run (which started around 1am):
litany of the dead with +1 mythic bonus
2 breezes
enduring conviction
2nd run:
purging the pantheon
unwavering ardency with +2 mythic bonus (*personally I think this is the nicest mythic item that has dropped so far)
circle of hatred
3rd run:
breeze
circle of hatred
circle of hatred with +1 mythic bonus
vile blasphemy
unwavering ardency
enduring conviction with +2 mythic bonus
4th run:
2 deific diadems
wretched twilight
breeze
noxious embers
circle of hatred
it was the first time that we were not waiting around for the raid to fill; we actually ended up having issues with people not being able to get into the raid.
we did not do the tiles puzzle training as we had originally planned so we will probably have to reschedule that for next saturday night.
also, I was mistaken in scheduling the additional mid-week raid night for Wednesdays -- we will actually be running the the heroic Ascension chamber raid on Tuesday evenings at 8-9pm est, so that our Australian member is able to join in on his free Wednesday afternoons; (note: I changed the previous thread reply above to Tuesday to avoid confusion).

yay another successful run tonight with the following drops:
shroud of the abbot
shroud of the abbot (with +2 mythic bonus)
enduring conviction
wretched twilight (with +1 mythic bonus)
we did not have a full raid party tonight, because a lot of people TR'd over the past week due to the update, but we got it done without a wipe (we had to face the abbot for 3 rounds though).
next run will be tuesday evening 9pm est.

we had 2 raid runs of ascension chamber tonight (tuesday evening). we started a bit later than 9pm est, because it took a while for the raid group to fill out, but eventually both raid runs were full. yay.
1st run (we had to do a 2nd round of the abbot on this one to get through tiles):
litany of the dead (the only named drop)
2nd run (very smooth run):
unwavering ardency
staff of the petitioner
breeze
litany of the dead (with +3 mythic bonus!!)
we are going to try to run the raid twice each night, so that we can advance the counters quicker to the 20th, so if you have raid timer bypasses or a flagged alt, you can try to join the 1st or 2nd run each night.
thanks for everyone that showed up tonight - it was a really great group of people.

enduring conviction (mythic +2)
shroud of the abbot
purging the pantheon
noxious embers
2nd run:
wretched twilight
purging the pantheon
we will be running again on tuesday evening around 9-10 pm est. hope to see you there.

Hi Harambegorilla, yeah would love to have you tonight.
just so everyone knows, we are planning to run the heroic ascension chamber raid twice (as usual) tonight (tuesday). we will have the first one around 9pm est, and the second one at around 10:30 pm est - we are trying to work around people's different schedules. depending on if people have raid time bypasses on hand or flagged alt toons, we might even try to get three runs in tonight.

we had 2 runs of the abbot raid again this tuesday evening.
we had a late start at around 10pm because some of our regulars joined a Caught in the Web raid, and we tried waiting for a bit.
1. the first raid was painful, we had to do about 5 rounds of abbot beatdown because I tried leading people in tiles and failed... (we had to recover from a platform near-wipe, missed the second spawn of portals getting people up, and then tried getting through the tiles section with alpha/beta goggles but messed up so we had to iggy beat down again).
shroud of the abbot
breeze
unwavering ardency
staff of the petitioner
2. second raid went rather smoothly with successful tiles run and wow - 2 quivers dropped!!
2 x purging the pantheon
2 x quivers of alacrity
enduring conviction (+2 mythic)
circle of hatred
there is talk that someone may host a third weekly ascension chamber raid, possibly on thursday evenings, for those people that cannot make it on tuesday or saturday late night.

Finally got Nyess flagged for Abbott, so I can run tonight. Got a friend, Uttara, that I helped flag as well. I'll get Malwyss ready for Tuesday night's as well. Can't wait.

Hi Nyess, that was really great that you got to join us tonight, and very happy that you brought a friend.
so again, we did 2 runs tonight:
1st raid (done via the goggles method):
wretched twilight
2nd raid (took 38 minutes but we succeeded via the tiles method - it just took us a while to figure out the beta/alpha paths but we got through on the first round):
enduring conviction
enduring conviction (+2 mythic bonus)
deific diadem
quiver of alacrity
vile blasphemy
+2 strength tome

we had 4 runs of the heroic abbot raid tonight, 2 of which we completed via goggles, and 2 of which were completed by tiles:
raid 1:
quiver of alacrity
deific diadem
noxious embers
tome of concentration +2 to +3
raid 2:
staff of the petitioner
breeze (mythic +4)
litany of the dead (mythic +1)
raid 3: omg, this was a really painful run which we tried doing by tiles; it was a short-man raid with 7, and I blew it instructing someone with the tiles. we had to do 5 beat-downs with the abbot, enduring multiple infernos and wipes. it took 62 minutes, and I was basically naked by the time we finished (except for my goggles which miraculously survived); I think I died 15-20 times.
breeze
2 x shrouds of the abbot
unwavering ardency
raid 4: after that painful run, we tried a late-night run for a latecomer; this time, it went pretty smoothly; and we finished in one round of puzzles
deific diadem (mythic +1)
purging the pantheon (mythic +3)
quiver of alacrity
unwavering ardency (mythic +2)
ok - not sure if anyone reads this anymore, but we are going to adjust the schedule going forward for the weekly ascension chamber raids.
TUESDAY EVENINGS will be 1 hour later:
7-8pm pst
10-11pm est
2-3pm gmt
1-2pm aest (australian est) (wednesday)
SATURDAY LATE NIGHT runs will be 1 hour earlier
10pm pst (saturday)
1am est (sunday)
5am gmt (sunday)
4pm aest (australian est) (sunday)

saturday late night heroic abbot raids - we got another 3 runs in after hephaestas' arratreikos raiding night; surprisingly we had more people that wanted to join for the raid than we could accommodate, although eventually everyone got into at least one raid run:
raid 1:
wretched twilight
deific diadem
quiver of alacrity
raid 2:
litany of the dead (mythic +1)
circle of hatred
staff of the petitioner (mythic +2)
purging the pantheon
noxious embers (mythic +1)
raid 3 (short-manned with 7 people):
vile blasphemy
litany of the dead
there was another heroic abbot raid run on Sunday afternoon, which was short-manned with 9 people:
noxious embers (mythic +1)
purging the pantheon (mythic +1)
** this is short notice, but maiyk was interested in hosting a heroic abbot raid on reaper 1 skull difficulty this evening (sunday) at around 7-8pm est.

we ran the ascension chamber raid 4 times this tuesday evening:
1st run: (there was a lack of communication on this first run, but we completed the run after 3 rounds with the abbot, taking 17 minutes total)
unwavering ardency
unwavering ardency (mythic +4)
deific diadem
shroud of the abbot
noxious embers
2nd run:
2 x vile blasphemies
circle of hatred
3rd run: (unfortunately this run was a bit painful, 3 rounds with the abbot, because we failed leading across tiles twice)
quiver of alacrity
staff of the petitioner (mythic +2)
4th run: (this was a run that we did at around 6am est, surprisingly we got 10 people joining for the raid and it went smoothly in one round with someone leading us across tiles *without* using their mic)
deific diadem (mythic +1)
purging the pantheon (mythic +1)
quiver of alacrity
+3 upgrade skill tome of open lock (+2 to +3)
