One of the people I play DDO with has had an issue on two different play sessions: he tried to "Repair All" but one weapon would not be repaired. It wouldn't even move from his list of damaged gear into the area of the Repair window where you put items you want repaired.

Anyone ever heard of this issue?

All his other items were able to be repaired. He tried unequipping the item, unlocking it, closing and reopening the Repair window, relogging, etc. One item is a staff on a monk and the other was a dwarven axe. The dwarf is a ranger duel-wielding and the other weapon was repaired.

I'm not talking about permanent damage, I'm talking about the weapon appears in the Repair window as damaged but will not transfer to the area of the window which shows which items will be repaired. Even if he tries dragging it there.

hmmmm, weird but did he try putting it in the bank then taking it out and trying to repair it? Its worth a shot I guess.

if all fails the best thing might be to see if support can help him, he has to log in at a certain time and wait, but it might be the only option. Hopefully they can help him.

i doubt this is the issue, but where is he trying to repair the weapon? there are certain repair locations which only accept certain types of items for repair.

(for example, the repair apprentice for Rechard Sorl in the Erstwhile Emporium in House Phiarlan only accepts repair for clothing and jewelry).

Is it possible you could have your friend take a screenshot of the two weapons to post? I am curious to know if there is anything special about the binding status or crafting-wise that might be causing this issue.

Interesting ideas, I will check all of them. Thank you.

One of my guildmates cannot get the repair guy on the ship in the Proving Ground amenity to repair his Arm of the Archons. But if he goes to the ammunition vendor, that person will repair it. And the repair vendor has no problems repairing my Arm of the Archons. Next time we play together, I'll try to remember asking him to put it in the bank and take it back out, and see if that changes anything.

Rune arms take damage?

iirc even Celestia will take damage on death, and that's made of light

I know you said not perma but the item could be perma damaged though? Try buying the repair from the store.

http://ddowiki.com/page/Repair_(equipment) has a list of expert repair vendors that might be worth trying out.

In the last few days I have had the same issue trying to repair a lvl 16 bound Envenomed Blade with the repair guy in the airship Proving Ground. The item appears in the list of things to be repaired, but wont automatically add with "add all," or manually, to the field of items to repair.

I later put it in the shared bank, took it out and it repaired just fine with the cargo hold tavern guy, Sulley.

The next day the same thing happened, the Proving Ground repair man would repair everything except my Envenomed Blade. So without further ado, I took it to the House K Guild General Vendor (and repair) guy and he fixed it right up.

So I think this is a problem with particular items and the Proving Ground repair guy. Will investigate more and file a bug report.

Weird. Never seen that, and I use it a ton (and die just as much! :D).

I had this issue too with my bracers. I repaired all and my bracers kept being listed as damaged after that. I couldn't add it to be repaird also. But the next day I logged in and the bracers were repaired perfectly fine and didn't need any repairing.

I had that happen to me a few hours ago, and to a guildy earlier today. The Repair NPC on the ship wouldn't repair it. However, 3 finger Thad, the General Vendor on the ship, had no issue repairing it for his higher fee. Its a money grab.
