I know I want to be a Warlock. I just don't know enough about the class to make a build. I tried reading some of the posts here but a lot of them aren't 32 point builds and use a lot of terms and technical information I am unfamiliar with at the moment. I know I want the Old ones pact, and have some necromancy focus, but I don't want to suck SP like crazy, or be a one trick pony, if anyone who is knowledgeable about the class could help me with a build that would be pretty amazing.

Probably not what you are looking for, but PDK's are human, https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...=salad+shooter

If you want to splash arty as a Great Old One.

I prefer Sun Elf Fiend Warlock myself.

I'd point you towards my Warlord build, but it's currently slightly out of date (I'm now in Exalted Angel charisma based with 3.5k SP and 2k HP). I'd recommend going human though and just playing a pure warlock with 41 points enlightened spirit, 23 tainted scholar, 13 souleater, and 3 human, maximizing charisma and being burst based. Doing that you'll have a solid foundation to build off of, and you can always do an ETR if you decide to change things up.

So it sounds like you want a Soul Eater (http://ddowiki.com/page/Soul_Eater_enhancements) build. Upside to being a Necromantic warlock: instakills like Finger of Death and Wail of the Banshee to complement your Eldritch Blast DPS. Biggest downside is getting your spell DCs and Spell Penetration high enough, particularly on a first-life build.

This thread (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/482841-Necrolock-90DC-10skull-tested) is the most recent Necro'lock build I can find. Let's see if we can back into a first-life version using human.

Souleater would likely work best, with access to SLA FoD, Feed on Magic and Eldritch Wave (which is IMO the strongest of the three T5 EB attacks). If you want to go pure the capstone is very nice as well as it's effectively a variant of Trap the Soul (either that or one of the other two capstones can compliment the build as well). Enlightened Spirit is also the norm to put AP in for boosting defenses.

On the subject of splashes, I have also been experimenting on a Warlock/Arti (I'm just too lazy to post it here on the forums). If you aren't focusing on using Utterdark Blast (or you're using Faltering/Penetrating Blast) (Epic) Arm of the Archons, Knives Eternal and Machination of Madness both increase your force/physical spellpower, ultimately improving overall DPS (the last one I personally suggest you try going for since even though the initial shots scale with Artificer levels the DoT effect it inflicts does not, it only scales with force spellpower that the runearm itself already provides). If you are running with Utterdark Blast on, (Epic) Resplendence gives 90/150 light & alignment spellpower at lv 18/26. And then of course Corruption of Nature will give you a free boost to acid spellpower, which benefits pact spellpower.

Just keep in mind that using the runearms butchers blast damage just ever so slightly, and also voids getting the warlock capstones. Plus you can easily get similar spellpower bonuses from other sources while still remaining a pure warlock. Since this is indeed your first warlock I do suggest starting out pure just to get a feel for it, before attempting a multiclass build. Unbongwah has a planner set up above this post that you should at least consider, he is one of the best (if not the best) build builders here on the forums.

OP is going to want the 3 stacks of the Morninglord stance if they're staying Warlock and not just using it as a jump off point to the 36 point build. The ramifications of ETR's, ITR's and TR's are really confusing for new players, who can easily get caught in an awkward place where they hate what they have to do to get to a better place.

I wouldn't really worry about 3x Morninglord unless you're just looking for every possible source of power, at which point you''ll also want to drop 12,500 remnants for a +2 spellpower tome and get 3x artificer past lives for 3x stacks of spellcraft. My own build actually focuses on force instead of light since ruin/gruin/arcane pulse is so much of the damage, and in any case 30 spellpower isn't a big deal in a non min/max setup. Unless the OP is looking to solo LH Shroud, a first life human warlock is fine.

I've been solo and pugging reapers hard and fast with the 2 monk splash

It has some serious sick potential really hard to kill

When every mob can kill you deflect arrows, dodge, evasion

Are worth there weight in gold especially for new players

Do you spend however many feats to boost the forms or do you just find it isn't worth it? Adding on to that do you even run centered?

I have been running this build since U32 although my play time has been limited since the last update.

https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/460700-Pure-Casting-Warlock-DC-Eld-Blast-Build?p=5869299&viewfull=1#post5869299

SP costs on a necro warlock aren't so bad as you have 3 slas: hurl through hell, devour the soul, finger SLA in addition to the finger spell and wail spell. Hurl has a low DC against a will save, Devour has a good DC against will save and finger/wail goes against a fort save.

The main thing is knowing which spells to use on which enemies and when to use the wail.

The build can be adjusted a bit based on what you want to run. If you want to run 10 skull reaper in a static group you might want to dump ruin, greater ruin for more DC. When running a mix of elite, low skull reaper and high skull reaper I think it's best to keep ruin and greater ruin for bosses.
