Please Help!

After updating with U34 just now I cannot get past Loading New Game data! It starts at like 5.4 Kb/s than degrades to 0.02 Kb/s and stays there. I have restarted my computer multiple times and no change. First time I've ever experienced this. Any help would be greatly appreciated - 5% bonus xp time is being lost :(

Ok i switched servers from my home Ghallanda to argo and no problem. Seems im stuck on character loading. Any suggestions what i can do or am I screwed for tonight?

Try checking your firewall settings and allow the launcher and dndclient through in both directions.

I used to have this problem with some characters from time to time. I would load a different character. I think sometimes instance/location data for a character can go bad and eventually block login. For me, it went away after a few patches. Maybe a defrag of the game dat files may help.
