This has been in the game for a long time, but just a reminder for people who may not be familiar with it, or new to the game...

a vorpal gives greater restoration which removes all level drains, negative stats etc...and really it's a more thematic weapon for a barbarian than a scroll. I use it as a swap when I get negative levels...try it out it works great :)

I carry this thing on all my builds as a back up. It is cool. It's also one of the rare 2d8 1-handers and is great with non-monk tree builds.
