After I Epic TR'D, I lost two past Doubleshot Epic Destinies. Is there anything that can be done to recover them? I am Extremely disappointed that this can happen after all the time and resources spent acquiring them. My confidence in the game is greatly diminished, for fear that this will re-occur.

Put a ticket in to a GM. If it is as simple as lost XP in an epic destiny they can fix this.
Losing Epic Destiny Sphere XP was a common occurrence at the start of the ER process. One thing that has been discovered by the DDO community is that the chances of this occurring is greatly diminished if you close down the game after flagging for ER (or IR/TR for that matter)

While this sometimes takes a bit of time to get a response (I've waited up to an hour before getting a response but also as little as 10 minutes) they already have steps in place to recover lost Epic Destiny XP.

If you lost Epic Past Life Feats, something I've not heard happening before, they would be the place to start.

Hi Enoach!
Thank you for responding so quickly! I have tried putting in a ticket and got a generic response to submit a bug report on forums. I did at that time submit the report to forums but no remedy was offered by either avenue. Should I try to submit an in-game ticket again? I figured I'd try General Forums here to get more input as to how to proceed and am grateful for your advise. Before I TR'd my doubleshot said acquired 3 times now it doesn't say 3 times anymore. It appears as a single TR Doubleshot.

Sincerely,

Zarcandor

So this is a loss of the Past Life Feat and not just a simple Lost XP in an Epic Destiny. As I said I've not heard or experienced that myself, but I would start with an in-game ticket to the GMs. If they can't help send a PM via forums to CS_Alkaid. (You can find their last post in the Dev Tracker posts).

If this can be resolved these are the ones that could get you the solution.

It does happen and is fixable.

Thank you, Jotmon,

That link was extremely helpful. Now I realize that I am not alone with this issue. They're description of the loss of destinies being 2/3, not one or three, is exactly what has happened to my character.
I will try to reach out to CS_Alkaid again. I was referred to CS_Alkaid and sent a PM, but have not heard back as of yet. It has been a few days or more now. I've had no help as of yet from game support with this issue.
That is why I've reached out here on the forums, and I appreciate all of the help, you have all provided. I prefer not to make a big deal of things, but this bug is extremely detrimental to the integrity of the game. What's the point if your gonna get reset after building your character up. My heart goes out to those who have lost so much more than I have. I can't even imagine losing 24 past life destinies.

Respectfully,

Zarcandor

To whom it may concern:

This is the only response the in game ticket support gave me, for the second attempt! I submitted the bug report on 12/28/16 and got an email saying:

Greetings Zarcandor,

Thank you for contacting Turbine with your report. We value our player's input and appreciate your taking the time to provide Turbine with your valuable feedback.

We're sorry that you are experiencing this difficulty, but we appreciate your contacting us to make us aware of this and the issue you have reported is under investigation.

The report you have submitted here was done via the "Report a Bug" form, which will not necessarily result in a timely response or resolution to your issue. On the "Report a Bug" page, this information is reiterated for your convenience. While we may investigate reports submitted via the 'Report a Bug' form, QA cannot resolve individual or character issues in game or on the forums.

Hey there. Other vets seem to have great luck with in-game tickets. In my experience, too often when you create an in-game ticket you get a standard response like you received and the ticket is automatically closed. I personally have had similar experiences as you and so I always used to create a ticket via the Turbine website. When you created a ticket on the website, you received an email that you could respond to. Often that email had a canned response that said your ticket would be closed. But you could prevent the ticket from closing by responding to the email. This was always the most successful method for me but I am not able to find any way to submit a ticket on a website anymore. If SSG truly would like DDO to be successful, they need to either continue the means of opening a ticket on a website, or stop the inane auto-closing of tickets by in-game GMs who apparently have zero clue or are paid by the number of tickets closed.

As for the recommendation to create a Bug Report, unfortunately that isn't a means to resolve your issue. As you have seen, a Bug Report is merely a means to report problems to the developers who will then use that data to (hopefully) make the game better. But no one will answer your report or attempt to help you from that report.

Hopefully on Monday one of the Customer Support people will answer this thread and help you. They don't work on the weekend.

Keep submitting in game tickets, PM Cordovan and any Customer Service Dev on the forums.

Keep at it, don't give up, this will be fixed.

When I first ETRed, I lost my previous epic destiny, I just thought that was part of the process, a few ETRs later, I realized I had been screwed out of a couple million exp. Now I take a screen shot of all the important before and afters every time I do any tr or lr.

Monday is an American holiday.

BUMP ~~~ keeping this on front page so when CS gets back..............

Just persist, seem this rare random bug fixed plenty of times by Customer Service.

I tend to shut down game for a few minutes, and go read thru DDO wiki before logging back in after a reincarnation setup.
