Hi Everyone,

I'm a long time player but due to time constraints only started really learning the game in the past couple of months. After taking a couple of toons up to level 30 and completely fouling them up I am currently on my third life of a completionist track. My main toon is Flixand and is currently a sorcerer. First time I'm playing a spell caster so I'm a little clumsy with him. I'm used to playing hack and slash tanks. I usually play after 9:00pm EDT so if you see me then stop and say hi. I've played solo for years but I'm beginning to want to join up in some groups.

What level are you now (and race, class split, and a savant focus?)

My plan is to grind 3 stacks of every class in heroic and then start on the epic track. I know it will be a long haul but I think that the finished product will be worth it.

I know it will be a long haul but I think that the finished product will be worth it.It might be more fun and interesting (read as: less repetitive grind) to do one epic life per heroic life. As in, go from 1 to 30 then TR back to 1.

At the very least, it would make your epic destinies more fun and interesting. Note that doing this also tends to dictate your heroic life order, in that you'd want to pick a good heroic life for the next destiny you plan to cap.

You should consider taking some of those lives thorough epic. (maybe just the ones you enjoy)
That way you can reset your first time epic xp bonuses which will make the epic lives go faster. (also epic past lives partiayl work in heroics so they help out there as well.)
Also worth considering if you want to also get the iconic past lives, those also grant you a heroic past life so you can double up on some of them.

L6 Air Savant

Feats that I make sure that I always take along the journey are: Spell Focus Evocation, Greater Spell Focus Evocation, Spell Penetration, Greater Spell Penetration, and Maximize. The rest of the feats are subjective IMO based on prefered playstyle, but those would be my core. I like the spell Finger of Death allot, so I sometimes take the feats of Necromancy and Greater Necromancy in addition to my core feats.

For Skill Points I would make sure to maximize my allocation in Spellcraft skill.

At each level up maximize your Charisma Ability Stat when you can.

Enhacements ~ great variation here ~ but if I electo specced, I would max that savant tree. You may wish to specialize in another tree, because you don't want to be a one sided sorc.

My favorite build is BF electro specced sorc.

its worth grinding. i have a triple completionist and i like him. i just need to grind out epic lives when i get around to it

I thought so too at first, but as the folks have mentioned, 1 -> 30 and TR back to 1 is a more fun route :)
