hi, im returning to the game and i want to play this game with my little brother. I'd like for someone to point me in the direction for a build. I like to play melee dps. I'd like to make a ranger/barb for tempest and just kill everything in site, if anyone could help me out with that, i'd appreciate that greatly

Welcome back, OP. :)

I would recommend sticking with pure ranger or barb builds, at least until you get used to playing DDO again. Both got seriously buffed while you were gone (barbs in U24, rgrs in U28); in particular, their capstones are a lot better than they used to be.
