Animal for and hand wraps: some help needed

Hi,

In the past, hand wraps gave the +W bonus to animal forms. I am rolling a pure druid for testing purposes (currently lvl27) and I found that currently hand wraps are NOT giving the +W. Can someone with a monk/druid help me? I need to test whether it due to the lack of monk levels issue or just a problem of the porting from handwraps being unarmed to being weapons.

PS - Easiest way to test is: equip handwraps with a given +X enhancement bonus and some +W (adamantine knuckles, tunderforged, for example). Do a few attacks. Now equip a weapon with same +X. Check whether the damage roles are similar.

Wraps are weapons. So they no longer add +w to unarmed combat, they just add to the weapon. This would be consistent with the change. Hopefully animal form will get it's own pass at some point, since it's kind of the only unique thing about druid. The shield from fire peaks adds +2w to animal form iirc.

I understand the theory of it (see OP), but have you actually tried them? I am doing a whole "check before you claim" life on a druid. Unfortunately no monk levels :S

I'll roll up an iconic and test it out. But, you might just have to test again after next update. If they actually fix all the handwrap/unarmed stuff like ToD rings and brawling gloves, it might make this work if it doesn't now.

Tested, 1w wrap, 2w wrap, and a kama, with and without reinforced fists (arkhat's belt). Reinforced is working in animal form with all 3, no difference changing the weapons with or without the belt in damage done. So not seeing the +w on the wraps.
