This is good to hear, at first I thought it was on my end. But after not being able to get to Red Fens, or any other explorer I figured it was not me since I even restarted my PC and client multiple times.

just logged into the forums to see what is happening,

am on Sarlona,
we are not able to enter any raids as a group, nor as single player to a quest,
we logged off, and are not able to leave party either,
keeps saying ' people are teleporting'.. etc..

we all switched toons, and most are not able to enter any quest, or slay areas.

HMMM...I've been running on Cannith for about 2 hours with no issues....then we get a 30 second warning of restart.

was at the end of chronoscope and we all got a 9 sec warning. like we all had world event turned off? i think not.

Sorry for the short notice, but we felt it was better to do this immediately rather than wait, as the problem would simply get worse over time. We've also identified what may be the cause in one of our DDO cluster nodes, and will be investigating it further.

We'll let people know when the worlds are back up. Should be less than an hour.

For Thanksgiving can you please have a HUGE outage since I won't be able to play then since I am traveling and doing the family stuff. You know, that thing they call real life.

I noticed these issues started happening after I noticed a new NPC in the Marketplace near House K who was saying something about now you've done it and the World is coming to an end. Any coincidence? Sometimes someones little joke has unintended consequences on coding.

Thankfully, all I was doing was converting essences after a long layoff from the game, wasn't in the middle of questing. Even 30 seconds of fair warning like I got was appreciated.

I did notice some of those login issues before the downtime on one of my accounts, though. It got stuck in logout, and was even still stuck after I'd quit out of and relogged into the other.

I've been on sarlona all day and have had no lag. but ok. really wish we had gotten at least a 15 min warning.

The affected worlds have reopened. We're still working on getting the DDO Bonus Days bonuses applied to them, however. Also a reminder that it may take up to an hour for guild amenities to repopulate.
