does tempest enhancement stack with weapon finesse

just working on a duel wield ranger/rogue build, and I notice the level 3 ranger tempest enhancement says that scimitars are now treated as light weapons, but I wanted to ask if it would stack with weapon finesse feat, before I take weapon finesse as a feat, which of course would be awesome! thank you

Taking the Deepwood Stalker Tier 2 enhancement Improved Weapon Finesse will grant dex to damage with scimitars provided you took that tempest core.

If going for a dex scimitar build, I would take the feat and both enhancements.

Is the wiki wrong or doesn't that same core ability already give you dex to hit with light weapons? (assuming dual wielding) That would make weapon finesse pointless unless you have some other feat/enhancement that requires it.

If your goal is DEX to-hit & dmg with scimitars (or light weapons in general), you don't need the Weapon Finesse feat; that's granted by the Tempest lvl 3 & 6 cores. If your goal is DEX to-hit & dmg with rapiers, you need the Weapon Finesse feat plus either Imp Weap Finesse from DWS or Aerenal Grace (elven racial enhancement), because rapiers are the only Finesseable-but-not-light weapons.

ty for responses. i have a low str 14 starting and dex 19, so low str and high dex, just wanted to make the most of my higher dex for 2wf, have a high int for rogue build. love rapers, but i already have a 2wf rapier build, and wanted to sneak in scimitars on this one. im very pleased, it is a custom build with master mechanic ability scores. edit: regular elf. edit: oh yes I see, that weapon finesse is not necessary ty
