I am just posting this with a clearer title. Virtually ALL of the handwraps I have in the bank are damaged, some more than half. They were all retroactively damaged based on their use since the last time they were repaired. This is BS. It's bad enough that wraps durability sucks even doubled and them taking damage from oozes and there is nothing for monks to use against them....

Retroactive damage? Very strange.

They arent damaged, they increased the durability of wraps. Fix them and even if you have perma damage they are still way more durable than they once were.

Yeah, I noticed this too. They weren't actually "damaged"; handwraps had their durability increased across the board. Apparantly, they only increased the max durability, and not the current durability.

They were probably "damaged" because they got their durability increased. The amount of damage they are showing is the amount of durability that was increased. This happens with brand new named items sometimes. They show them having damage right from the chest.

If they increased the durability, why do my wraps keeps ending up with a lot of damage after just a few minutes in the mabar event?

Probably because they are now coded as weapons. Staff users have been dealing with this forever.

B/C wraps are now weapons, with that they are subject to damage like other weapons.

Low hardness combined with the fact that undead have always been brutal to equipment. And you can never rule out a bug when new content is involved. lol
