I noticed that between a tier 5 ability and the cap stone, a ninja spy monk can get +1 crit range and multi with short swords. +2 range and +1 multi for kamas and shuriken. That is either +1 or +2 for the range depending on the weapon that requires 5 levels of monk to reach. The +1 crit multi requires 20 levels of monk to get.

THEN you have swashbucklers, which get all of the above with only 3 levels invested.

yeah but swashes can only swing one weapon lol

Anyway the swash enhancement tree was the beginning of massive power creep--it was a HUGE mistake giving swash such crit buffs to any light weapon (good God--leave it to just rapiers at the minimum) and CdG based in a skill. So when Pally was due, out came the Holy Sword insanity and free cleaves (and Holy Sword could be cast on anything at the time; it should have been limited to the deity weapon, or just long swords). They did well with assassins; overbuffed mechanics; overbuffed tempests; forget warlocks and paralyzing AA; they seem ok with shintaos and ninjas, idk about Henshin yet.
