Henshin Mystic - SLAs No meta-magics?

Basically the title. Why can't meta-magics work on the Ki SLAs? The damage from them is completely underwhelming otherwise.

Basically the title. Why can't meta-magics work on the Ki SLAs? The damage from them is completely underwhelming otherwise.

The biggest reason is most probably is that monks don't have the ability to cast spells. Though it would open up some interesting caster/monk builds, but ki sla's are now boosted by melee power so adding spell power wouldn't make a difference.

Also would like to see Lilly Petal and Orchard Blossom from Grandmaster of flower to also scale with melee power.

Yes, if we have to go down the horrible melee power route, we might as well get grandmaster's ki abilities working with melee power.
