Some insightfuls not working

I am having trouble with the crafting system, specifically it isn't allowing me to put insightful charisma on a ring.
according to the crafting device, it says that if goes in the extra slot and I have an extra slot on the ring but when i put the ring and the insightful charisma in the device the window is empty.

Then I had a rather bright idea. I realized that the ring had a green augment slot and so I prepped another ring, this one without an augment slot.
The second ring worked perfectly, except it has no augment slot on it.

Is this issue known? is it WAI and I just didn't find anything on it?

To add the insightful shard you first have to put the item with a mark of house cannith and combine those. Once that is done you can add the third ability.

Below a certain level you can't add the third ability - level 10 or so I think.

I know how to work it, it is not working.

I got an item (with a green augment slot), I made it ready for enchanting, I applied a level 30(34) shard. I applied a mark of house cannith,. It would not accept the insightful shard.

I did the exact same thing except the item did not have a green augment slot, the insightful worked fine.

Strange I have a Treasure level 34; +15 charisma +15 dexterity +7 insightful charisma with a green augment slot on it; if it helps i did not add the augment till after i made the ring

On the other hand insightful spell saves is a little bugged (+5 (magic) will saves; +3 for fort and reflex)

This picture isn't showing up for me, but when I follow it back to pinterest I see 2 pictures.

In one you have a blank ring with no augment slot which has had a cannith mark applied to it and can take an insightful shard.

In the other you have a ring that has a yellow augment slot but has not had a cannith shard applied to it yet and thus cannot take an insightful shard yet.

You need to read the descriptions on the extra slot more carefully and note the difference, then apply a mark of house cannith and be on your merry way. :)
