Sometimes a decision makes total sense, until you compare it to all your other decisions.

-> Then ... NOPE. (http://www.gamergeoff.com/ddo-the-card-game-balance-pass/)
(Now with Charts!)
Regarding the fighter comment over cleric
Back in the day you had to roll for your ability scores
And depending on what you got,
You could choose a class
Now a lot of classes had high reqs, or multiple reqs
Such as monks and multiclass, or Druids
The thing was the balance was built into the min scores
And some classes were out of reach for avg rolls,
Unless you got lucky...
Now, the system is reversed
You get to pick the class, and then roll the scores
So it has to be balanced much more evenly
Since the gateway has been overcome
So back in the day, rarity was observed
By the rng gods
Now, everyone can play as they choose
This is democratic at heart, individualistic
And is kinda Monty haul
Because, I know I had a better rng system
So they could choose those better classes
Or if they chose to go more basic classes
(which had low mins)
That they were getting over the top heroes
With their better scores
That's power creep
And it means shifting from a d20 to like
A d100
There's no platonic at 100
So Gary kept it tight
And by looking at your graphs
That's just what you realized
Cant go too far off the curve
It gets exponential...
And then you're fighting gods.
(but she seems to smile in your favor)

Ziind Stargazer must be a Planeswalker card who changes mana-type and powers every edition (or expansion pack) to reflect the different classes he's become over the years. I almost always multi-class except the case of my first paladin life, my first artificer life, my first and only so far FVS life, and my second warlock (and current) life.
Multi-class characters should have a mix of abilities, but be weaker than those who dedicated to their path (meaning single-type).
