I just repaired my heroic set of smoldering armor from toee and it was damaged during repair...

This set is fully upgraded, is this supposed to happen? Sorry I'm not posting a picture of it, i'm not super tech savvy...

If it is BTA or BTC it shouldn't take perma damage.

I think you can always bind an item using the stone of change ritual, which would at likely prevent further damage.

BTA and BTC items are not supposed to take permanent damage, but this the armor starts are unbound this may not be working correctly.

BTA equipment is not supposed to get permanently damaged I would contact in-game support, and file a bug report on the matter.

Thanks guys. Yes this is Bound to Account armor, which happens when you upgrade it from its original state. Just re-entered the game, and my armor is still damaged... Sent in a ticket.

First of all, if it is bound it is not supposed to be possible to permanently damage an item. If it was bound when the damage was incurred then, yes, a ticket is the way to go.
If it was damaged before being bound (happened to my thunder holme sword), then item restoration oil from the store can fix it, at the cost of turbine points.
