You all provided lots of feedback on The One Thing thread. We have read through all of it and made a selection for the list of items we are going to look into. It is important to say that we aren't promising any fixes/changes to these items, only that they will be looked into. Not everything could be picked for a variety of reasons, but it is likely this process will come around again in the future, and requests can always be made again.
Without further ado, here is the list:
Wrong indefinite articles in chat spew such as: "You obtain an Planar Shard" and "You obtain an Challenge Token" - Some Fixed for a future update (there will still be some around almost certainly)
Whirlwind Attack not working with weapons, but does work with unarmed
Throwing weapon multipliers from enhancements not applying, such as from Swashbuckler stance
Ruins of Threnal not showing up on adventure compendium
Default Level Range on public LFM defaults to one higher than bravery bonus, player would like the default lowered by 1
Slavers of the Shrieking Mines - optional for defeat beholders, but only one beholder shows up- Fixed for a future update
Change the challenge objectives for Kobold Island challenges so that they can physically be completed and 5 Starred
Cannith Challenge Trader titles use proper level ranges - Fixed for a future update
Slay <blank> quest issues - Fixing them for a future update as we find them
The High Road chain quest order given to you by Rina Belostos is incorrect.
Many times in High Road explorer area you will get the notice that a rare encounter is there in that location. You arrive right on top of the dot on your map and nothing is there.
Replace SLA tooltips that only state that the character can cast a spell with the sla, with the tooltip for the spell itself. For example, Archmage Enhancement SLAs – This may be much more difficult of a fix than it would seem
Taming the Flames quest: After finish, when you speak with quest giver NPC, conversation window is open together with reward window. That was very annoying for me when I was new to DDO. - Fixed for a future update
I would like to see The Druid's Deep quest complete successfully when I defeat Halsaime. The quest objective doesn't always get ticked off, so the quest doesn't complete. Roughly 2/3 of the time I run this quest, I have to submit a ticket to have a GM complete the quest for me.
Burst of Glacial Wrath currently checks for charm immunity, and does not freeze things immune to charm.
Coming from the Bookbinder's house on the (north??) side of the Bank of Kundarak (The Lordsmarch branch!) towards the bank, please add some freaking stairs!!! - Fixed for a future update
Radiant Burst and Radiant Aura are positive energy effects and should work on Artificer pets like Positive Energy healing spells do.
The bank windows closing almost immediately after you open them.
Sorting the adventure compendium by level
Glamoured copies of shadow dragonscale armors don't have the aura, but if they're equipped in the cosmetic slot and detoggled the aura is displayed.
Multiple quests have the DM voice overs out of order, first one that comes to mind Let Sleeping Dust Lie you pick up a book it talks about a key dropping
with Unbridled Fury Epic Moment: You gain 1 Fury each time you land a vorpal strike with a melee attack (works on ranged), same with Fury Eternal – will change text to say ranged and melee, Fixed for a future update
Conjure Bolts - This augment has never worked from day 1, If you click on it then it goes through the animation and takes a charge but does not produce any bolts - Fixed for a future update
The sound played when the VoN 5 quest is given is WAY too loud! With headphones it can almost make your ears bleed!
Fix the feat bulwark of defense
Correct the on-screen DM text in Prey on the Hunter that says "seems in the cavern wall" to "seams in the cavern wall". – Fixed for future update
It's impossible to currently 6 star Short Cuts because the 5 Orthon Lieutenants don't spawn.
Using the farshifter to go to Three-Barrel Cove, I get the splash screen for the Foothold of Restless Isles, as opposed to the one for Barrel's Bottom like it should. Fixed for a future update
Change the following 3 stackable items so that they actually go either in a Green or Red Bag, even if that means one has to drag them out of the bag to use/interact with an NPC: - Likely Fixed for a future update (checking for any strange behavior that could come from this change)

Add a search bar to augment bags, just like the one ingredient, collectible, and gem bags already have.
making Spell Casting Implement working on all weapons – We have added a system that should automatically add this to new scaling weapons with spellpower effects on them
Please make sure that the Lost Chest (that need the Lost key from under the bed to open) in Acute Delirium is reachable.
The timebomb does not appear to register on many enemies
In Beyond the Rift, right before you have to Defeat the draegloth there is a sequence between Lolth and The Spinner of Shadows, where they merge (well, Lolth absorbs the Spinner, or whatever). Then Lolth rises up into the air, AS A DISEMBODIED TORSO! Please anchor her back in place so that the missing parts aren't exposed to the world, it really ruins the scene.
Primal Scream bonuses should disappear when one turns on a defensive stance.
At the end of Partycrashers, Lokael's scripting is a bit messed up.
And the existing list from the Player's Council:
Look at the door to the Gianthold Wilderness so that you can't accidently click the wrong thing and get teleported back out.- Fixed for a future update
Check on why the teleport locations in the Gianthold Wilderness explorer area only get picked up by the first player - Fixed for a future update
The fog sometimes causing white out on Precious Cargo
Gnome Wand and Scroll bug - Fixed for a future update
The purple haze being too much in What Goes Up
Protection from Evil potions may not working - Fixed for a future update
Green Steel Power shards of the same type would be nice if they could stack - Not possible, these are items which have effects added to them instead of creating new items, which means they can't stack.
Temple of Deathwyrm - Red light/Green light room killing non moving characters
Remove the map fog of war from 3 Barrel Cove public area- Fixed
TWF offhand and shield bashes missing, instead of grazing
Dialog box stays up when entereing Beyond the Rift Fixed for a future update
Some poison effects not giving enemies the proper poisoned icon Fixed for a future update
Missing random encounters in King's Forest
Eldritch Burst complaining about target being too far away
Pirate Captain's hats removing hair - This might have a problem with hair when it isn't removed so has a decent chance of being a no go for now
Add DC tool tips for Stunning Blow, Trip and Improved Trip - this could be a big issue that is a long process and may not be feasible currently
Stop Creeping Cold/Greater Creeping Cold and Niac's Biting Cold overwrite issues - this might be completely unfixable in our current systems
Commendations/Heart Seeds not stacking when taken as end rewards -this could also be unfixable with current systems

Many times in High Road explorer area you will get the notice that a rare encounter is there in that location. You arrive right on top of the dot on your map and nothing is there.
I want to make sure you know this is not just High Road. It can happen in other (any?) explorer areas that have random spawns show up on the map. I've personally seen it happen in King's Forest and Stormhorn's.

Don't forget eschew components, it doesn't work properly, if you have it on you don't need the special components like diamond dust or the gem for create undead, you need the lvl component in inventory, its reversed for those special spells that require a unique component.

Nice list! Without knowing the particulars of the code, if the issue with CC/GCC and NBC is that they're typed as the same type of damage (Cold DoT, where Niac's and GCC/CC are an either/or) It might be an easier fix to just rewrite the code for Niac's Biting Cold completely to chance that type of damage to Arcane Cold DoT, separating it from druid overtimes.
I don't know the specifics of the code, but if I was on the project that'd be my first place to try and fix it.

This actually isn't fixed. I went there sometime in the past week (after the update where the release notes said this was fixed) and it was as black as if I'd never set foot there (which I have a lot, farming for Jibbers' blades and doing sagas). I don't know whether the portion I cleared running to the wildy will now REMAIN cleared no matter what, but this is hardly "removed".

Yes, I think those notes come from us passing around the list among the team prior to publication. The things marked as fixed or fixed for future update will most likely end up in U33, if not before.

Remove the map fog of war from 3 Barrel Cove public area- FixedThe release notes say it's fixed, and I was super excited for it, but sadly it is not fixed. I'm pretty sure it's easy to reproduce, but if not I'm happy to include a video demo as needed:
1) From your airship, go to House Kundarak
2) Run right, talk to NPC and go to 3BC
3) Contemplate your existence in the black void that is the 3BC fog of war

It happened to me in Epic Gianthold wilderness two or three days ago. 'A Smaller Problem' appeared on the map but there was no encounter at the designated location.

Asking for a bug to be fixed, and having it fixed, is pretty great. It would be great if this was a regular (several times per year) thing, I'm sure there are hundreds upon hundreds of bugs in DDO that wouldn't take very long to fix, and many that regularly annoy players.

Yeah but there were a lot of great ideas and most of this list is hand picked fixes that could have been addressed by the intern in an afternoon... :)

Any Kill objective might be spoiled by a ranged attack that kills from too far away, not just Halsaime.

I have had mixed results here..
If my inventory is full and I take the commendations as end reward it adds to the stack in my inventory.
on some toons this now 'sticks' and every time I take the end reward it goes into the stack even when there is lots of inventory space.
ideally it should just go into my bag.. but no luck here...
I have managed to inconsistently get this to work for several alts.
If I Epic reincarnate, it resets back to depositing into separate slots in the inventory.. until I fill my inventory (with one stack already in inventory ) and then collect heart seeds or commendations..
Somehow forcing it into the overflow inventory allows it to put it into the stack and hold that coding to allow any future collections to just go to the stacks instead of a new inventory slot.
it doesn't always work for all my alts, but have had inconsistent success.. haven't tested enough to get a good step by step guide...

What would the feasibility of a bag inventory conscious work around be put into play? For example add a GS vendor that lets you exchange power shards for a baggable stackable token and the tokens for shards?

As someone who spent 5 years fixing bugs in industrial software, nothing is ever easy. I almost became an alcoholic because of QA/bug fixing. Even grammatical fixes can be annoying because if the original was documented/organized poorly it can take ages to find it.
And I was working with programs that had been written in the past six months that were relatively specific. I wouldn't go near anything 10+ years old with a 20 foot pole.
I'm glad that they are recommitting to this. I hope this dev team actually sticks to their guns though. We've been promised stuff like this in the past and it always only resulted in like one or two fixes before they went back to churning out more bug ridden content. One update a year focused on polishing content, bug fixing and hugs would make me so giddy.

Its strange behavior, but I think that they stack in your inventory only when your bag(s) are full. I've started leaving a full stack in my bag and locking one partial stack in inventory. As long as my bag is full new ones get added to the partial stack in inventory.

Protection from Evil potions may not workingThis is an old old issue that an attempt was made once already to fix and just resulted in the effects icon timer to last the duration the potion is supposed to. They do work, just not for the 5 minutes the text and effects icon say they should, but for the 1 minute they used to last ages ago.

Any Kill objective might be spoiled by a ranged attack that kills from too far away, not just Halsaime.
The Ranger Kuldail Ukien is often the big culprit since if you kill him without getting close enough to activate the objective, you can proceed to the end of the quest and think it is the end fight which bugs out.
A similar problem can occur in Lords of Dust: enter the room with Tahmael to start his speech (in human form) and then immediately exit to the former room. Once he transforms and becomes targetable, should you kill him from outside his room, the quest will bug since the Kill Tahmael objective does not activate unless you are in closer proximity. Here however, you know immediately that the quest has bugged because the closed door will not open and states the Kill Tahmael objective needs to be completed.
It might be a very cheap way to fix this type of problem by having these objectives activate at the outset of the quest rather than be proximity triggered.

At the end of The Lost Thread after Ana breaks down the last barrier there are a few drow that spawn. If you kill all of them in one shot with an AE then the quest never progresses because it never triggers the release of the prisoners from either side. Have to kill one of them, wait for the prisoners to get released, then resume killing.
Not a big deal on EE since it's unlikely you'll kill them all in one hit but on EN there's only 3 of them and they have something like only 700 hp.

Regrettable that mine did not get in, due to the severity towards builds of that type. I'll just keep on putting it on the radar...and hoping and praying Steelstar doesn't show up and tell me it's WaI lol

Would you please send some kind of email alert before a VIP subscription is about to end? Not having us notice when all characters are grayed out after the login screen and freak out? Thanks.

Pirate Captain's hats removing hair - This might have a problem with hair when it isn't removed so has a decent chance of being a no go for now
Add DC tool tips for Stunning Blow, Trip and Improved Trip - this could be a big issue that is a long process and may not be feasible currently
Stop Creeping Cold/Greater Creeping Cold and Niac's Biting Cold overwrite issues - this might be completely unfixable in our current systems
Commendations/Heart Seeds not stacking when taken as end rewards -this could also be unfixable with current systems
So, no fixing the plank in the harbour bridge then... :(

I want to make sure you know this is not just High Road. It can happen in other (any?) explorer areas that have random spawns show up on the map. I've personally seen it happen in King's Forest and Stormhorn's.
When I've noted this the encounter dots have been from entering the zone and it was actually up, then I run a quest come out and dot is there but event is not. Not sure if this happens on a first entry too or if this is all of the problem.

Any Kill objective might be spoiled by a ranged attack that kills from too far away, not just Halsaime.
huh, didn't know this. I assumed they were talking about the same old aura healing the npc bug.

Well I sorta knew my One Thing wasn't going to make the list because it didn't fit the parameters of the question. Converting old Bound-to-item cosmetics into the new BTA cosmetics was neither a bug nor something that could be fixed in a short time. But I'm going to keep asking and keep hoping that one of these days (years later) they get around to it because there are several styles I'd be willing to $purchase$ if they were available again. But thanks for the bug fixes anyway, they're appreciated too.

Maybe you can also fix the machine when it says: "(Standard): An error occurred", when crafting a shard.
It consumes the essences even though there is an error.

I wanted to add a typo to this list. i didn't see it. on the slaver sets like chains/shackles/rings. it says slaver's Bonnus slot. so correct it to bonus.

Currently Deadly Fire traps min level 11 ones are doing far less damage then listed. So far I have never seen them do more then 80-150 despite the listed damage on them being 50-300. I have no idea if other types or levels have the same issue since I haven't bothered much using them.

So instead of even looking at much less trying to fix the crit multiplier bug on throwing weapons.... you decided to include it in the new monk capstone ability where 'big surprise' IT DOESN'T WORK.
Bravo! really classy work guys, let your player/customers complain on a special thread (one thing) and then ignore its problem IN YOUR VERY NEXT UPDATE, better yet, you included one of the sighted problems in a class capstone! Hahahahhahahah! hilarious! just hilarious!
Best part? the bug has been on the Known Issues list for over two years and you have ignored it, just as you have ignored everything else on that list as you try to bury it, yet because you decided to bury your heads in the sand and ignore it you bugged your own new monk tree ability with a TWO YEAR OLD bug, well done!

NoWorries, I for one appreciate your honest explanations of why some issues are hard or impossible to fix.
Can you add some explanations like these to the Known Issues page? It might reduce some of the ranting from guys (like me) who think they know an easy fix when they see one.

Underpopulation has caused a significant social shift of the nature of this Party-Centric game to people working on a single solo character for long periods of time.
I've recommended back in 2008, 2012 and 2014 that a Server Merge might be advisable but an alternative would be better, considering that there are identical names on many servers.
So I propose a Cross-Server party system that effectively runs an instance of a character on the client that checks against the server of origin when updating the character and inventory but functions in an instance on a separate Party/Grouping server that allows for the LFM/LFG system to propagate across all servers. This way you minimize overhead and unite the dwindling population for proper, intended party play.
Population decline has been slow-killing DDO for some time now. It's now a decade past-due to implement a fix of this nature.
This game was made for Parties. Not for soloing. Raids are an indicator of this, unless you want to make Raids all solo-friendly to all classes as well. Therefore, please install a means to reach out to population that exists in the DDO world but is currently segregated by the separate world/server system. Soloing was installed due to the population taking nose-dives and the Devs having to accommodate players still wanting to play without anyone to join their groups. Soloing is not the game's design.

It's highly relevant. It might be in the wrong place according to your opinion, but it's on the forums now.
