I like to see anything craftable be unbound. For those that have difficulty getting your heads wrapped around the the consepts of the crafting process as I do it would be a godsend. Get a friend or someone to craft it for you and give them the materials and whatever compansation they require. It's done now to a lesser extent in the crafting houses so just expand it to all items crafted. Also, all items gotten in quests be unbound. Would it not be wonderful to be able to share the wealth. I'd like to hear from other likeminded players.

Cannith items can be made unbound, as you observed - it just costs way more ingredients, requires way higher crafting levels on the part of the crafter, and also a specific bound item that you can only reliably get to the crafter by running epic Eberron quests with them to pass them tokens of the 12 via the reward chest to then turn in for the special bound item. Scour your collectibles bag for small medium and large eberron shards - they can be passed to a crafter for them to turn in. However, it is unclear where these drop or how best to go about getting them and further, these items can also be traded into a regular collector for some pretty sweet rewards - so be careful what you pass to a crafter and what you keep to turn in for yourself (one good hint - don't give crafters medium Eberron dragonshards unless you really have to. You can get XP pots with those for yourself).
I dislike that, since I actively enjoy being able to randomly help folk like you out, and now realistically, I can't. Unless you have an epic toon, and I also have an epic toon, and we also both have a free time period which overlaps in which to run together.
Presumably either the large/medium/small dragonshards, or their purified equivalent special ingredient will soon be available in the store. If so, then I guess if you desperately wanted a particular item you could gift a crafter some TP or something. Ugh. I feel dirty just saying it.
Net result: there will be a huge economy for collectibles, but pretty much zero economy for crafting skills. Basically - you need to level it yourself.
Of course, since this is clearly the best thing for people to do for personal benefit, they probably will. This will then further push the price of collectibles up. So I'd crack on if I were you, there were zero collectibles on the AH on argo this morning, and I suspect it'll be a sellers market pretty much forever now.
For other crafting systems in the game, I don't mind so much that some things are bound, and some things not. These systems tend to relate to raid loot or loot from particular packs. People really ought to play them, to get them. They can still be passed to you in the chest. I object to the Purified Dragonshard restriction in so much unbound cannith crafting because cannith crafting is supposed to be the 'universal' system, and it is already gated by other equally rare collectibles, in quite large numbers, which in some cases will require you still to run specific packs or specific level ranges.

I have 10 toons running at various lvls getting average crafting components and ingreediences/collectibles is really not too hard. Ive been playing mostly below epic lvls for a good while. I've given and thrown away more crafting materials then I can remember because I do not craft, multible pages on prefixes and sufixes and other numerious instructions contributed to that. To run raids to aquire materials for things I don't craft would be a waste of time, time I can spend playing and improving my playing skills. Having to pass potentially bound items by chests to the crafter to craft for you is just time consumming ( and that's if they drop). Imagine all the chests that are being opened at the same time that actually have the item you want and you have theirs and a simple trade would benefit you both if there were no bound items. No...crafting is not one of my strengths but aquiring crafting materials I can do, and do while still enjoying playing the game. I could enjoy the game better if I had better equipment(non epic)that is crafted for the need instead of bound named items or sets of items which if unbound could be traded too. On one server I found a serious lack of rogue items and on another server an over flow of the same items (understand non-interserver trading) but with unbinding everything there would be no differences. You could play your character to it's potential (or yours).
