Is there a way to get Spellcasting Implement added to weapons in Cannith Crafting?

Spellcasting implement should automatically appear on weapons that have certain effects on them (like spell powers) just like on randomly generated weapons and named ones...

Are you not seeing spellcasting implement on crafted weapons that should have it on them?

I'm having the same problem. I tried crafting a rapier with a plus to radiance, and got the radiance but no spellcasting implement.

Yeah, obviously a bug. I made several caster weapons last night and not a single one got spellcasting implement added to them. Tried force, fire, radiance, devotion, acid and lightning and a variety of weapon types. Scepters, staves, scimitars, longsword, etc...

Please fix Turbine. <3

Is your spell power being increased when you equip crafted items that should have spellcasting implement on them, but don't show it? That would indicate that it's specifically a display bug.

Did you bug report (http://ddobugs.turbine.com/ics/support/ticketnewwizard.asp?style=classic&deptID=24037) it?

Hope they fix this quick. It was mentioned on Lammania several times but I never saw a dev response.

Known issue! Turns out the spellcasting implement effect that the spellpower recipes were adding to weapons was not the correct one. We're looking into a fix. =]

putting in a spell power augment works. no reason not to use a blank with a slot.

When you fix the recipes, will you also fix the already-crafted weapons? That'll impact my decision whether to craft an upgrade for one character (that won't actually be as much of an upgrade if it's not an implement, but if those will be fixed also it'll be worth making now rather than waiting).

Assuming all goes well, already made weapons should get the implement effect where appropriate once the fix goes in.

Great, thanks! ...Even with the caveat *g* (Which is totally understood, make no promises until you know for sure and for certain!) But it's good to know that the plan is to have it work *g*

Any chance Legendary Green Steel with spell power augs will ever get spellcasting implement effect?
Or is it meant to not have that?

Also is enchant weapon type effects gonna be fixed with new random loot spellcasting weapons? Neither the Artificer spell, epic past life feat or harper enchant increase spellcasting implement bonus.

That would be because current implements are based on the ML of the weapon and not the enhancement bonus. Since Enchant Weapon doesn't do anything for the ML, it doesn't affect the implement bonus. If you have an older-style implement, they (and Warpriest's Righteous Weapons line) *are* affected by all of these.

So it's not a case of the spell/ability being broken, but the mechanic getting changed to something that's no longer affected by it.

Interestingly, I just grabbed a scimi off the AH with the new-style implement (based on ML) to test with my elven FvS with Righteous Weapons (to increase the Enhancement Bonus of my deity's favored weapon) & Articles of Faith (to make my deity's favored weapon an Implement). When I equip it, I get *two* spellcasting implements listed... the +10 from the weapon's ML, and +30 from enhancement bonus (+4 enhancement bonus, +5 for Righteous Weapons, +1 for Harper Enchantment, multiplied by 3).
