I made 11 Vampirism Shards but the results were 11 True Seeing Shards

Ran into this yesterday too, luckily only tried to make the 1 and noticed it straight off - not good at all

Turbine quality control at its best. What you failed to understand is that "Vampirism" meant sucking the materials from your character. Now that Turbine has sucked the life out of you the result is "True Seeing." Yes, now you see Turbine's development department for what it is -- or more accurately, what it isn't.

Agreed! It is, however, easier for the simple minded to complain. There is a ton of bugs in this game, but I don't feel like my VIP dollars are being wasted at all.

I am positive that Turbine has not released a bug free update in the last 12 months and that in every update there has been 1 or more issue that was identified in Lamannia but still made it to the live servers.

I thought it was just a mistaken tooltip...And now that I know it does not work I have to warn everyone:

THERE ARE MANY SHARDS THAT HAVE THE WRONG DESCRIPTION AND AS SUCH MAY NOT FUNCTION AS THEY SHOULD, BE CAREFUL!

On the plus side, True Seeing is very expensive to craft (newly create epic collectables) while Vampirism is dirt cheap. (Existing mid-level heroic collectables.) If you actually want to craft True Seeing...

I don't play Microsoft so I don't care. In fact, I'm tired of people using other games/brands/companies as an excuse. When I was young I got tired of hearing my mother always ask, "If your friends jumped off a bridge....?" It seems today that jumping off of bridges because someone else did it is the standard for quality.

Here's a news flash -- it is just an excuse for lazy, shoddy workmanship.

Turbine lacks a true test server. They lack a true quality control. They just churn out code and fix it after the fact and get by with it because "friends jumped off a bridge."

I'm sure GM tried that same excuse with their ignition switches and Takata would like us to all accept that as a reason for their airbags. And, while releasing buggy DDO code isn't killing anyone it is certainly taking its toll on the game. Anyone who has been playing for more than a couple of years will recognize that.

The inability to develop rapidly and predominantly free of major errors is among the top reasons for the decline in player population.

unbound min level 32 33 and 34 shards show up as bound. They do not stack with the bound shards though.
