Update 32 introduces an updated Cannith Crafting system to the game. Players who used the old Cannith Crafting system will have their existing crafting levels automatically converted to the new system when they log into the character for the first time after the update.
HOWEVER, a world property issue impacted a subset of players between 11:30 AM Eastern (-4 GMT) and 12:30 PM Eastern (-4 GMT) on Tuesday, September 13th. Characters who would have converted above level 150 in the new Cannith Crafting system had their XP capped at 150. These customers will need to contact an in-game GM for assistance through the Help menu in-game.
This issue ONLY affects players who:
Logged into a character with Cannith Crafting levels between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM Eastern (-4 GMT) (approx. an hour) on Tuesday, September 13th.
Logged into a character that would have had their existing Cannith Crafting levels convert to a level above 150 in the new system.
GMs will resolve this issue by running a command on the character and then having the character log out and then back into the game world. Players will need to be logged in when CS contacts them to receive assistance. We apologize for this issue, which was caused by a world property that failed to interact properly with Update 32. Anyone who logged in for the first time post-update after 12:30 PM Eastern is unaffected by this issue.

Let me get this right. The cause of the problem has been fixed, and all that is left to do is repair the damage already done?
I have held off logging in my main due to this. I have your word she will not face crafting level conversion errors?

Yes, we've corrected the world property to no longer cause this, and have a relatively quick fix for folks who were impacted by it during the first hour of release. They'll need to reach out to in-game GMs. You can now log in without any issue. Anyone who logged into the game after 12:30 PM Eastern today for the first time post-U32 is also unaffected by this issue.

That's the way I'm reading it & that's the word I was looking for.
*Wanders off to log in.*
edit:
150/150/150 --> 261.
Close enough. :)

Fast work. Good job. Gotta feel bad for people hit by this though. I hope the CS staff and GMs know they're working late tonight.

Thanks for the update! I sent a message over an hour ago and am still pending a reply. Hopefully they can get to it soon. (Thelanis - Aquamine Artifact)

Your fix doesn't work. I just finished with a GM who ran the "fix" and I am still short about 100K XP from where I was prior to the update.
I was told that there is nothing more he can do and that I have to submit a bug report.

Will this fix also work for people who were affected but started crafting? I only got skill 150 while i should have had around 250 but wasn't paying attention so after converting my essences I crafted my way up again to skill 292. Will this fix still work for me?
Thanks

I was at 150 after logging in, but didn't decon or craft. I'm now at 260 without talking to GM, so I should be all set, right?

You know this really s&*&s right? Gm's take more thank 1.5 hours to respond to a ticket. I generally can't stay online that long so they close the ticket again. Is this a fix or a stall?

Here is the thing. I logged on noon EST to convert essences on my lunch break. Logged off came back and saw these messages.
My crafting level is correct at 260 so I Assume I don't need to do anything. I never checked my crafting level earlier so maybe that is what caused the problem.

Feather fall shards seems to cause the game to crash I haven't seen any other shards cause this issue.

Against my better judgement i decided to wait and lose two hours of sleep to get my crafting levels fixed. I logged in to find out that a GM answered my ticket an hour after i logged off.

It took me over 48 hours to get a response to my ticket and it re-set me back to base xp, so I actually lost about 60 crafting levels out of this.
But, hey, I got 300 Turbine points for my trouble. :(
If anyone is still affected by this issue (doubt it) the fix will re-set you. You'll lose any crafting XP you got before the fix. Wish they'd warned me that would happen.
