Im not Cordovan but if I had to guess that Every Wednesday world restarts, means every Wednesday.
Otherwise he would have put Every Wednesday world restarts except if update falls on day before in that thread.

We will be talking about it. The weekly thing is kind of baked into various folks' to-do list, but we'll see.

Let's forget about the DDOracle numbers which are way out of date now and even the YourDDO numbers from almost 5 months ago.
BUT
Cannith, Orien and Sarlona have all had the Default MULTIPLE Times since Wayfinder lost it.
Ghallanda and Argo have had the Default once each since Wayfinder lost it.
Thelanis and Khyber Haven't had the Dafault at all since before Wayfinder was introduced as the 8th Server!

From personal experience I feel Khyber is doing slightly better than Thelanis and therefore Thelanis really should be next.

Yes I know you like to keep the Default as the weakest Server {except Wayfinder} but that's not working because Orien especially and now Cannith too keep ending up back where they started so you keep giving it back to these two over and over again {admittedly Cannith got one of it's turns because Orien had "Lag" issues}.

I'd say give Thelanis 3 months, then swap to Cannith for 3 months, then Khyber for 3 months, then Ghallanda for 3 months, then and only then maybe back to Orien before Sarlona and Argo get another turn.
For the last 3 months of the two year cycle give Wayfinder a chance, Then start another two year cycle with Thelanis again.

Just outa curiosity, why exactly is it so important to you personally which server has the default and which doesn't? because just today I noticed you crusading for this in 3 threads. So it must be pretty important to you.

I wouldn't presume to speak for Fran, but I suspect it is to do with server population .. the recommended server generally boosts that worlds population, so more grouping chances etc

My guess...is because he plays on all servers and probably wants to play on the default server...which ever one it is. Not being critical, by the way.

It should be important to everybody that servers like Thelanis and Khyber don't keep getting ignored just because they've historically been the highest pop. servers.

They both need an influx of new blood rather than the trickle they're currently getting.

I actually play on All Servers and spend time on every server each week - So I can see better than most the average pop. of each server comparatively - I personally feel Thelanis is in the greatest need right now and therefore for me Thelanis should be next DESPITE the fact that the last time we had any real numbers Cannith was slightly below Thelanis {6th and 7th out of 8}.

Cannith is also my MAIN Server and so you can be assured that I am not being partisan or subjective in pushing for Thelanis to get the Default over Cannith - Cannith can get it's turn in between Thelanis and Khyber OR after Khyber {The reason I say in between however is because I know the Devs like to boost the weakest of the big 7 when handing out the default and for the foreseeable that weakest will be Cannith.
BUT THAT'S BY NUMBERS ALONE AND DOESN'T TELL THE WHOLE STORY - Thelanis has issues beyond mere numbers, issues of a jaded vet population and a massive number of SMALL AND TINY High Level Guilds - 13 more Lvl 160+ than the next Servers {G-Land and Khyber which only have 2 more than Sarlona}. I've spoken to multiple Thelanites who've complained about these issues they see on their Server to me {I'm NOT having a go at Thelanis here! Just trying to help.}.

I would suggest Sarlona simply because it's so pug-friendly and the last time Sarlona was the default many of the new players stuck around and are still playing at cap.

Thelanis is the Server I've played the least on in the past 2 years {well apart from Wayfinder}.

I have 30+ Characters on Cannith, 17 on Sarlona, 7 on Khyber. - Those are the Servers I play the most on and None of those 3 NEED the Default like Thelanis does!

I do have a couple of characters on Thelanis but more for checking Guild Levels than anything else - I don't really play those Characters - Dashlyn for instance has been lvl 10 for the past year! While Ghjlk {Bladeforged} got to Lvl 18 pretty much on Gold Rolls alone.
Thelanis having the Default won't make me play those Characters more - I've played more on Orien recently than I had done in the past but that has more to do with me getting into a good Guild than it being the Default.

I log on to ALL Servers EVERY WEEK {for my Gold Rolls minimum} - I've played on ALL 8 Servers this year, In fact I've played on ALL 8 Servers this month!
The Default makes no matter to which Characters I play or which Server I play on.

If anyone can be objective about which Server needs the Default the most I have a good claim at least!
