View Full Version : Not able to copy my character over

So I did do the initial copy just fine, however I remembered that the shared bank wasn't able to be copied. I needed a certain item from the shared bank, so I deleted my character and tried to re-copy it. However it still has not let me do it after a couple hours of trying. Is this the way its supposed to be? I mean, lamannia is a test server, I would think that allowing players to re-copy their characters indefinitely would be something that would have been allowed. I really would like to test something, and I can't do it until I am able to copy my character to lamannia.

From my limited understanding; if you delete your (copied) Character when within Lamannia, you cannot "copy" the same character again, until after the Lamannia Server is officially 'Closed' and then 'Reopened' for another new testing time period.

Even if I submit a ticket in order to copy the character again?

No point in raising a ticket this is working as intended as it prevents folk from copying over the same toon time and again, even waiting between Lamma opening and closing does not matter, what does make a difference is if the devs do a server wipe on Lamma as this is the only way to copy over again, but of course everything you had on Lamma from previous session is also gone.

I try to click on it at Launcher and doesn't work...
The copy service is just for who have Lamania, or for other worlds too?

Copy is just for Lamannia, and only when the Lamannia server is up (it's currently down.)

Transfer allows you to move a character over to another main server, but costs money or DDO Points. It also doesn't Transfer over TR Cache, or anything from your Shared bank spaces. You also can't Transfer a character that is the leader of a Guild, or move a Guild to another server for that matter.
