Hi there,
Did Fathom the Depths in the Red Fens on Epic Elite the other day. Very tough.
But when we went to get the rewards from Craneclaw we just got the standard Heroic rewards.
Any clues as to what we did wrong, or what more we need to do to get hold of the Epic rewards?
Thanks
Nicl

The only way to get shards from red fens is to do the bonus optional. After completing the quest go out the door by the shrine and head to the middle. Then jump down and fight the demon and you will get base items that can be converted /upgraded and on EE about a 50% chance for shards.
For a time you could just jump down the pit and fight the demon immediately even though it appeared locked off, but I am guessing that was fixed by now.
The quest was always that way. The pearls are used to upgrade the dampened items. Then the shard, seal and scrolls are used to make them epic like the other old epics.

It is fixed. When I run this quest, I run across the blue barrier because I'm too lazy to go around.

Would be nice to see a Legendary release of Red Fens and an update to gear with augment slots..

Especially since spell crit multi is back in the game, they could fix the elder set.
A lot of the s/s/s gear/content could be made legendary and make a lot of people happy, of course just as many would whine that it's not "new". meh, I'd like to see it.

And a Legendary Chronoscope - Where we travel back in time to the Old Harbor Entryport (Pre Module 8) where we have to do a Legendary Kobold Island followed by a Legendary Survive The Low Road and find out how the Aspirant's Corner became the Inspired Quarters.

I would rather see long term bugs fixed. Then after that go into doing updates on stuff like those.

Lets do both.
Neither of them done one at a time can't be handled. Do you really have faith that both could be handled at the same time?

No, but I am an optimist at heart.
Management could find the value of testing multiple updates at once.
Management could find the value of having a full time "test" server.
Management could find the value of misdirecting players so we don't know exactly what to expect. (What do you mean that final raid fight isn't a straight "Slug Fest"? That's how it was on Lama-land).
So I remain an optimist, yet I understand pragmatism too well :(

We go left at the beginning... and there is a party of level 3 NPCs we meet who goes right. :D We see them through the ice occasionally, battling cultists.

OP as others have said, the end rewards list is heroic. That is not all bad if you are running them to make sets, either for the old s s s items or a future reincarnation.

My view is to create a simple legendary crafting mod using the s s s items and raid tokens. I don't like old content rehashed to legendary, personally:
