IMHO outer splinterskull - on part 5?, well actually even on part 1 you can get all the purple mushrooms - but on part 5 you can get one more because there are two instead of one by the ooze pit. Even if you just run in to get that one mushroom - DD and click out, reset and repeat... pretty fast.

I just want to run in collect and recall, reset, and rinse a repeat only few times like the last anniverssary event for the collectables. Spinterskull too long.

well I don't know about Depths... too me can you get both in one shot in under a minute? Because part 5 of AoS can get 2 in under 30 seconds.

He may be concerned about how long it takes to get to Splinterskull, or how long it takes to get to part 5 if not already there.

Once there, however, I agree that Splinterskull is the best, fastest source of dark mushroom farming (I use it for Fragrant Drowshood, and lots of others drop along the way. :) )

Bruised Spore Pods come mainly from House D quests. I don't recall if I got those in tangleroot.

I am not entirely sure but I think they are changing things in U32 so you can get these from any mushroom in any quest as long as you are at the right level.

For now it's definitely more of a house D thing.

You can go to Antraxias Haven and hit the caves for purple mushrooms, I did just the mining cave. Make sure you go inside the tavern area so you will recall there instead of your originating harbor area.

Go to the Fens, get quest for Last Stand, open on elite. Three fungus patches around outside of town. Recall, reset, repeat.
