Getting new players into the game.

HI, I would like a link that I can give out, to get people into the game. A link that will send them to a page about the game, and if they sign up and play, and spend money, I get some benefit.
Like the old refer a friend setup, but not where I have to get their e-mail and send it in, I want it simple, so I can post it on my facebook page. I have a business facebook page, I do talk about DDO to customers, so I can place it there and just tell them to click it.
And the benefit does not have to be much, though I do like the old 10% of TPs they buy, and I did get the pet they gave out (then they gave it for other things also).
But the important thing is, that you sent up a system, and let your players get more players for you. I want Greyhawk in the game, and the game to go for many more years, so more players help.

Oh, I've also started playing Lotro, so something there also.

Honestly, I would think just having people to play with that you happen to know in real life would be enough incentive. It would be for me. However, since it is not for you, hopefully Turbine will come up with something because I'm sure there are other people who play that are motivated in the same way you are.

HI, I would like a link that I can give out, to get people into the game and... I get some benefit.I'm not much into social media and what not, but can't you already just make/pop a link onto your page that will achieve all your goals - except for getting a benifit? And (just curious here)if so, will you do it without the personal benifit or only if rewarded?

Don't get me wrong, I agree it'd be good & fine for Turbine to incentivize/reward recruitment - It would just seem a shame to want to recruit players but decline to do so for lack of incentives/rewards.

Why not just personally tell them about it, sounds like the most logical way since turbine doesn't have a recruit friend system.

so i was wondering where has the creativity gone for ddo for not making these trailers anymore? sure the squirrel one was funny but there has been so much since motu that could of warranted trailers like this. Severlin please consider doing a few trailers. please at least do one for the new expansion. sometimes that initial trailer can be what interests people in playing for first time or returning. just seeing things that have came from content to classes to cosmetics to raids etc.

its just me but i hope they do revisit one day.
