Thelanis - loading screens - locked up

Four times today, I had to kill the dndclient, and restart DDO because I get stuck on "loading... please wait" when trying to enter a quest or my guild ship.

This has never happened before. I rebooted my PC, no change.

I'm just curious if anyone else having any problems.

On cannith too..also vox keeps not connecting saying no internet..I am hard wired..and have you tube..fanduel..draft kings all up..I am no comp person..any clue why??my guildys are on and talking..then I get booted from vox!!!gggrrr

I CANNOT EFFING GET OUT OF MERIDIA. I have quit the game, logged to a different character, logged back in, and I CANNOT GET MY CHARACTER OUT OF MERIDIA.

I Just started having problems with being "stuck" on loading screens this afternoon.

Same here - can't get off airship or having to reform reset a party in the middle of a Chain to progress - can happen any load screen anytime

NVM ... I'm stuck on loading screen now too.

was stuck in Necropolis so logged out and used hall of worlds when logging back in to get away from Necro Then couldnt return after buying my hirelings done an easy solo quest no issues then went to the sewers in the harbor to do Invaders and again stuck will not log in to the quest grr aggravating to have time to play and game goofs hold me back :(

And now I can't get INTO Amrath. I've had to kill the game 8 times in the past 10 minutes. This is absurd.

I thought it was just my internet connection or something. I played half the day on Thelanis yesterday without this problem; today I barely got started and just about every load screen I've had to quit the client and log back in to go from one area to another. This is incredibly frustrating in such a heavily instanced game. So after less than 2hrs of play I'm done for the weekend, and as a casual player this is usually when I play the most.

Another "me too!" This is the first time I've had to kill the client, for the past couple of weeks, it usually clears up in a minute.

Was running fine in Restless Isles, had to kill the client to get out, tried 3 times to get back in, tried once to get into Sands. All 4 times, kill the client and relog in.

I was on Thelanis as well ... looks like my issues last night were part of a wider issue.

I have found that killing the processes and then deleting all the files in My Documents\Dungeons and Dragons Online\Cache before launching back in has allowed me to get in on the next try. So far had to do it 4 times today .. going on 5th (can you guess why I am posting here) ...

It's is VERY frustrating.

Took me three attempts to get into Chains of Flame solo on Thelanis.

Same. Now a stutter effect in public instances.

We are doing rolling restarts of a number of instances on Thelanis in an effort to combat long load times.

This was happening last night... joined a Demonweb pug, and I couldn't get into Spinner's Prison... mentioned it (to explain my delay) and they said they'd had similar issues earlier. Closed the client, restarted, got in just fine. Got to Trial, got in fine, they finished... and everybody was stuck on the the loading screen to get out. Everybody restarted the client, and we headed towards Deal and the Demon... nobody could get a window to open. Nobody. So we went to Reclaiming the Rift, and that was fine. Headed back to D&D (heh) and got in just fine this time. But along the way, we had two people have difficulties zoning either into DW or into a quest.

Fortunately, none of these restarts, we got the "split party chat" bug.

Last week, I couldn't get out of Legend Revisited after a guild run.
