The warlocks range on their primary attack is limited, it should be allowed to extend its range by way of taking the Extend feat.

But that is not what extend does.

The ptential is to reduce ddo quests to the space invaders arcade game... ;p. Would be fun though.

i mean that's so awesome, we really can turn this into Gauntlet Online! Well, at least level 1-11 when you "have to run with chain attack" so sick.

If DDO had stuck with the original eldritch blast (which I wish they had, because warlock wouldn't be this broken powerhouse it is, now) then we could have eldritch spear, which is basically an eldritch blast that is double range (like a ray spell).
Yet another reason I wish the devs had listened to my ideas about warlocks....

Or maybe an enhancement toggle that increases range but as the distance increases spell power decays.

Nothing preventing them from adding new EB shapes like Eldritch Spear to the PrEs someday...well, nothing apart from limited resources / game balance / laziness, that is.
