My thanks to Silverleafeon, for the Lost Trees Project.
I used that for inspiration, and borrowed quite heavily from its design philosophy.
However, I felt the beacon angel was too closely copied from radiant and aov. I wanted a soul that complimented its own trees and brought forth new possibilities. This is more a hybrid of sla and healing, so that depending on flavor, you could spec either way.
It is a heal amp build. To synergize with radiant. One to heal, one to boost heals. While still maintaining either damage or heals. But heavily influenced along rezzing lines.
A pure angel of charity will have a +20 p/mrr, +5 saves, and +100 heal amp. Aura. ?*Plus mass true Rez. He will be a beacon of hope (for party wipes).?*

A healing focused tree in a game where no one needs a focused healer seems pointless to me.

Terrible core 3, because you can buy CSW pots. Change this to potions of Heal/Reconstruction and it got cool factor, but only if you can freely trade the potions, change it to potions of cure critical wounds and it's a little less powerful but gives something useful still that barbs and fighters would want to buy as a stopgap until they get Destiny healing twists in place. if you can't freely trade the pots then it's stupid because you can already cast the spells with great spell power so who cares about pots. Then the only problem is: everyone makes a Heal/CCW pot crafting mule.

this capstone looks terrible, mass res is useless gathering people up for a mass res is a good way to wipe.

a bunch of SLA's that belong in the Angel of Vengence tree, and no DPS (crits and spell power in this tree) seems very misplaced.

Automatic raise dead is brokenly OP it would be broken/exploity at core 20 but especially at T5, I see raids with "need 1 Jesus build then we go". Or multi boxing with your 12 spot taken by your Horc Chest blessing Jesus build that you park so people can auto-raise themselves.

Okay but without Crit range and Multiplier Divine melee's might as well not exist, if they want to balance it make it for Deity favored weapons only (but expand the selection at least a little Gnomes, Horcs and Dwarves currently have no racially flavored deity weapons for example) if they want to do it a little differently then give a T5 Multiplier and a Core 18 Multiplier and no range, this is less powerful than 1 range and 1 multiplier.
last nitpick cores cost 1ap not 2.

Design philosophy. What makes it worthwhile to bring 2 divines to a raid. This has to be the balance.
Mostly to cover a melee army, with one radiant and one charity, they would have overlapping auras that's greatly promotes hot. With big fields you can counter one shots.
That's what divines have to offer.
This was healing specced because that is province of divine, and the missing tree, and base was borrowed heavy from lost trees, which was even more heal specced. I made it more about aura heals and added some firepower. Because its like a combination of radiant and disciple.
If you don't build it they won't come. That being said, if you want to see a support role, then you have to put it into the game. The deal here is really whether wisdom conversion will enter the play, and where it will come from. A game changer for divine melee, which is where it's needed.
A charming personality, good at barter
But really, most of the old trees are scaled only for heroic, for a 20 endgame. But now we got 30, and if it don't scale it's considered worthless. So the new trees, see warlock, are overpowered and able to deal with the epic game. And gear makes the diff for legendary.
Lvl6 useful skill. Kinda the joke of the design. Need to put all those healers kits to use.
For someone who seems to know some meta and endgame, this is obvious.
As is the next. Two metas, back to back. Something on the power of heighten, for free adds on the SLA, and improved spell casting. Thinking max for endgame. That would be like the gods favor.
This would assume the party is wiped and offers a panic button. For 50sp can be spammed for casual gamers.
True Rez brings everybody back to full...
And the stat adds are op to reflect what's needed. A three split.
Don't belong in aov because they're here. This tree is a compliment of aov.
I was thinking of a real player when I designed this. For endgame a raise dead won't do you much. Why the mass Rez, or even spelled or ED for single tgt. Otherwise you get an aura rise from lvl 12 on. Free level 5 spell. And gets team used to rallying to fav soul. Like a beacon and refuge, get it?
Ya, this is the cherry.
I would agree to multiplier on the favored weapon. And then expand the host. And perhaps a range. But keep it in tier. Cores are for cross classing.

As Was noted, most of AoC is borrowed from the Lost Trees project.
In that tree, we're the SLAs, and even heavier lifting from cleric radiant. So there's is the group credit for forming the disciple look.
I found what was lacking in fav soul was damage and healing, so I included an aura and lifted the SLAs. Then I jacked damage for light, and added spell pen.
So I figure new fav soul would be primarily AoC with AoV splashed in. Should make a pretty potent pure favored soul.

I didn't realize the sun line slas are core divine disciple
So I would change their names
To lightbolt, lightbeam, and Lightburst
I already changed their descriptions
Another idea could be to scale them with positive

Because that would just be too obvious
(would I get TP for that? Lolz)

What are the chances that AoV will get a make over at the same time?
Uncapping MCL's or improving them somehow
Removing the 50% reduction on the Archon
Adding some PRR into the cores
Granting an additional SLA somewhere in the cores
Ascendancy = +4 CHA? Wish it also included +2 or +4 WIS.
