I have a repeater with +4d6 good damage on it. When i hit the training dummy i do at most 7 damage and sometimes 1. I thought i would be doing around 14 on average?

I did some quick tests and it seems that ALL ranged weapons do only 1d6 damage even if weapon mod says that they should do more while melee weapons do deal as many dices of damage as they should.

I bug reported it and suggest doing the same. However I wouldn't have high hopes that it will be fixed soon (or at all).

I will bug report it. how annoying. I really hope they fix it soon.

I just add that it seems that all elemental / alignment +xd6 damage on ranged weapons are bugged, so if you want play ranged character then random generated weapons are basically no use for you.

Arrrh. So annoying. was looking forward to the cannith crafting pass to make some items for my ranged char.

Isn't that interesting.
I hadn't consciously noticed this issue, but I *was* wondering why my arcane archer's best weapons are still the same weapons he was carrying pre- the christmas random loot "upgrade", since when he has gone up 7 levels.

Also, I'm not sure if it's clear on what dmg is affected - I was playing a low-level Dwarven fighter yesterday, and I equipped a bow which has a 1d6 fire bonus on it, which was working. Even though the toon is new, it could be that the loot came from somewhere else, I suppose.

New loot is also broken in animal form. Other than accessories and clothing the new loot is pretty much useless for all of the characters I currently play. Also it does not break dr making it even more useless I hope the devs fix it before they release the new cannith crafting or I will be even saltier about it.

Color me surprised... or not.

I noticed this right away in Delera's. Good damage weapons did not affect the ghostly, I used a crafted weapon and a named weapon with holy to bypass later. Flame touched would still work I imagine.
