My Adventure Pack Ownership is now complete!!! I own all packs and expansions in the game..

Here is how is did it - over 6 year project (started playing july 2010).. memory is not 100% accurate

1. Found the game and loved it!
2. $99.00 Went VIP for 12 months Saved my 500 TP *12 months = 6000 TP
3. Went through 15 Heroic TR's (elite once and done) gathering apprx 2000-3000 favor each live, so got FREE TP 500 each life. 7000-9000 TP
4. when VIP expired Started to buy stuff, I had over 15,000 TP
SHARED Bank number one priority~!!
then bank space and Char inventory space.... 15 lives add up to ALOT of stuff.....
Bought Monk Class
Then started to buy Adventure packs.....The more i bought the more favor each life I got!!
5. Bought Motu On sale.. maybe $15.00??? and got the Epic destinies with it??
6. Bought Shadowfell on sale $????
now running 4000+ favor each life and get about 1000 FREE TP EACH LIFE!!
I am up to 29 Heroic lives....( going for triple Completionist)
7. Bought the TWO PACKS on SALE in the DDO market today...$17.50

So for about $150-200 in six years i own most of the game! (about $30 per year average?..........$2.00-3.00 per month!!)

It is worth every penny! My time in the game is a total waste of life, but for the entertainment value. I SAY PAY!


Now back to my favor grind for free TP... 5000 favor per life is 1250 FREE TP and i get to play all content each life with all sorts of various people. I LOVE PUGS! <<< this is perhaps the most entertaining of all HEHEHE

Yea, over 6 years, I've also acquired all of the game, or at least nearly all of it. I still need to splurge on MM VII now, and there might be one epic pack I don't own yet, but that's probably it. A few things I never wanted, and didn't buy - warforged and half-orcs because they're both really ugly. I think there's at least one or two iconics I still need, but I'm still working through heroic lives, so I've not bothered. Some of them I got as part of an expansion.

But yes, DDO is a pretty cheap date, overall. I really do like the p2p model, since it means I own most of the game forever (or at least until they shutter the doors, whichever comes first).

note: I play ddo since 2009 and gone the premium way. I own 98% of all content (i guess 2 iconic class and race recycling options are missing) and I think I have bought tp points 2x (once in conjunction with an expansion), that is about € 120 and still have 2750 tp left for future content. VIP did never make much sense for me, but other seems to have fun with it. If you have a completionist toon you get loads of tp back from playing tr lives.


I really do like the p2p model, since it means I own most of the game forever (or at least until they shutter the doors, whichever comes first).

I hope they shutter the doors first, else this would be a short "forever".
