Cannot access the King's Forest in Eveningstar

Hi there can anyone please help, cant access King's Forest. I am VIP and have menace of the Underdark expansion.
Also note i have done the lead up quests including Beyond the Rift and the Web of Chaos story arc.
I can access the High Road and the Storm Horn without a problem, and have also picked up the quests for Kings forest.
I have submitted a ticket which was resolved with only an automated response that did not help

This is getting real frustrating and Thanks for your time.

The King's Forest is an Epic-only explorer area, meaning you have to have level 20 or above to enter.

High Road, Wheloon, Storm Horns, etc... all have both Heroic (pre-level 20) and Epic versions. Which would explain why you could access those but not KF.

Is it bringing up the Dialog just not letting you in? Are you clicking on the gate or the person that will port you to the camp inside.

Also, did you talk with Elminster in the market area?

just checking.. you talked to the Elmister by the well.. not the one in the NE for the CITW completion..
His chalice doesn't light up even when you complete beyond the rift..

also.. sometimes reclogging helps if you just ran the LOD chain to get to Eveningstar..

Try talking to the people to get CITW chain 1 quests and then try to enter King's Forest.

True but then he mention being able to get into storm horns.

It's worth checking to be sure the OP is aware that there are two expansion packs. The stormhorns is a separate one from the kings forest.

No it actually didn't. He said he had access. And said he was VIP. I was thinking maybe he thought he had access because he was VIP.

I'm standing in the King's Forest right now, so unless something's changed since yesterday, it's not down.

Sorry to necro this thread but my subscriber 21st toon also cannot access the Kings Forest. I get the same error. Says I do not have access and directs me to the store where there is no expansion to buy. I can pickup all the quests but I am unable to enter the zone.

I also can't get into the war hospital for the same reason.

Only quest I have managed to enter is Overgrowth which bugged the first time so needed two attempts to finish, now I have no idea which is the next quest as the questgiver gave no further instructions. I can get into the stormhorns, high road and a couple of others but not KF sadly.

Reply number 8 applies to you as well, have you actually purchased the menace of the underdark expansion? It cannot currently be purchased in the store, you have to buy it from the DDO market (http://store.turbine.com/store/turbine/en_US/list/categoryID.58516100/ThemeID.29252200). It is not included in VIP. (Non of the quests you mentioned being able to get into are part of the menace of the underdark expansion they are all parts of other packs or expansions.)

Ah I bet that's it - I had no idea there were expansions not included in VIP. It is really confusing when it refers to the DDO store where there is no expansion to buy. I have epic destinies though - which it says is included in MOTU? Unless thats also in something else?

Guess I'll have to leave it for now.
