'Transport' Buttons Bugged

My wife has a character that is glitched up. It does not provide the 'Transport to Forgotten Realms'/'Eberron' buttons on the load in screen.
Anyone else have this?
Any fixes?
Contacted game support and they told her they were unable to assist.
Additionally, her Daily Dice roll does not show up on that character's life bar, and if she has mail it does not show up either.

Just to be sure, she doesn't have the buttons at all or they are just grayed out and not clickable?

If they are completely missing then that sounds like some sort of installation corruption issue and likely requires an uninstall/reinstall.

Does she have the client set to use a language other than English? I know the foreign language versions of the client are no longer officially supported and can sometime cause strange issues. (The transport buttons were added after they ended support so they may never have been properly integrated.)

They are greyed out.
No foreign language versions of DDO installed.

I do remember reading something about that with the mail/daily dice notifications being missing a while back, but never saw a solution - it sounds like a re-install might be in order.

about the missing forgotten realms/eberron transport button issue though, the "hall of heroes passport" feature is only available to VIP, or to iconics, or to people that have purchased the passport from the ddo store.

1. is your wife's account VIP?

2. is the specific character that is glitched an iconic?

3. do other characters (that are supposed to have the transport button) have the button available?

Account is VIP.
Other characters do have the option.
Character is not Iconic, just like a number of her other characters are not. We can make a new character on the account and it will allow the transport.

Additionally, the problem is not localized to one system. So it is a Turbine problem I would think.
