I know this will probably be denied. The source is mostly from TR problems.

I would like to propose that DURING the TR process it might be allowed to change Bound to Character items into either Bound to Account or unbound.

The items to be converted must be on the character at the time on the TR. They may not be in their bank. They may not be items sold in the DDO store. Raid loot items might be restricted from conversion too (though I would love to convert my Tharask handwraps to BtA).

The cost would be in the neighborhood of 2000 TP (I do not understand why Turbine likes saying 1995 instead of 2000) per item to be converted from Bound to Character to Bound to Account. The cost would be in the neighborhood of 6000 TP to convert an item from Bound to Character to Unbound.

This would give an option of planning on preserving items for future use as opposed to just destroying so many items each TR. (I do a lot of Cannith crafting and I think I destroyed maybe 30 items last TR just to be able to hold my entire TR bank).

Never for raid items and not much else should be BTC although to much is right now.

The 1995 and similar things are an old marketing trick people would rather pay almost 2k instead of 2k and they feel they are getting a deal. Its been a long time since my marketing classes but we talked about such tricks

I'm not for this. First they should review the current BTC items and make appropriate adjustments.

^^This. It is referred as the "Magic Number". Commonly seen as something like $49.95. or even $999.95. The reason is the emotional value associated with the higher number. It is the appearance of looking like you are paying much less then you actually are paying.

Having taken a marketing classes for my Bus. Admin. Bach.. People always love to see an odd number at the end of a sticker price 3, 5, 7, or a 9 is what get people attention. An even number is passed over. Even if it is the same or superior than the odd number product.

It is the same in which paper is towels are marketed today. These 6 paper rolls are the same as having 12 or more rolls. How many times are you going to use an individual paper towel again.. Oh, yeah. ONCE! How many paper towels are that plastic wrap again.. Right.. Marketing at its best. Convincing people to help in their own fleecing.

It is so crazy to me how players have came to the point where they not only give good ideas and solutions. But also offer to pay for them. This is the point we have reached, and still our suggestions seem to fall on deaf ears, not because they don't listen but simply because of a lack of skill.

The Ferengi in me salivates at all of the missed chances for easy profit.

Altar atunement making things bta instead of btc. Any non raid loot. Problem solved and doesn't take editing a bunch of items.
