I know this is a huge ask, but is there any possibility that DDO will be able to get 3D support for the Oculus Rift, now that the commercial version is available? Or even workaround support through vorpX? Right now the launcher is apparently preventing support through vorpX even though DDO is available in DX11.

You turn your head right and see nothing down the tunnel. You turn left, and...maybe that was a kobold's tail disappearing around the corner? You shrug as you face forward to head down the main path...

AND A GIANT F*CKING WHEEP FACE IS RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF YOU!! NAILS IN ITS EYES AND WEEPING BLACK BLOOD!!

...as you let out a little-too-high-pitched scream and throw the Oculus Rift across the room.

Would be cool but to few people playing probably have one to make the dev time sensible. I have played around with them and other 3d goggles and they just aren't good enough for me to spend the money yet.

I know, but I can ask... :D

The skillset at Turbine IMHO is not good enough to make this happen. Sadly enough. With the active combat could sell itself as a weight loss/MMORPG.

im not sure how much dev time would be needed if they did it right.
i would think it would have some kinda "input device" basic input
and i would think the 3d part should be simple. just need a 2nd camera and maybe adjustments for the distance from eachother

Still a horrible ROI how many people total really have the devices and out of those how many play DDO
