What would be the results if someone equipped with a sovereign vorpal used a charging aoe attack and rolled a natural 20 on a mob hit?

What would be the results if someone equipped with a sovereign vorpal used a charging aoe attack and rolled a natural 20 on a mob hit?

been a while since i paid attention to this, but i believe all attack rolls are rolled for each mob individually.


i remember a couple years ago when i would cleave with a vorpal and some mobs would die and some not. but i couldn't tell you if it was because of the roll or because of the hp limit

Something I've never seen over the (hundreds of?) thousands of times I've used a cleave.
