Can someone post how many points of damage the various monsters in Legendary Tempest Spine hit for?
Just roughly from what I remember (these are numbers for melee hits before PRR or other damage reductions):
Drow: 1600-2000
Red names: 2300
Rusties: 2200
Sor'jek: 4500

All of them. :(
All of them. :(
The good thing about getting one shotted is that you no longer need to care about your defense or healing once you are in that territory anyway.

He hits like a wuss ( just kidding, though it's easier to just stay on his back ), giants are real champs.
3261, with 40 % damage reduction so 5435 before prr.

Con is not a dump stat, Wipey ;)
I still remember my guildie who ended up at -42k hp in that silly room thing in the fun EE one in the 12... what's it's name... hmmm... anyways, he needed more con, too :p

Terminal delirium.
It came out right when they added original champions. So this room in particular was extra silly on release.

When it first came out to be really honest I was one of many against such big damage...now I am for it. There was some aspect that I didn't consider. It did bring back some balance between dps/defence and roles, like tank and made cc useful again & healing
Like my ranger...I did sacrifice quite some dps to get very high prr/mrr and hp, but at least he can survive 2 hit...going full dsp and then turn to a soulstone we all know is 0 dps.
Do not tell me any build will be oneshotted, cos it's not true. Start drop some offensive feat/ench and you won't be oneshotted, the truth is people always want max dps.
A good tank should be able to aggro 6-7 mob and survive.

I agree and disagree. A regular melee with 1500 HPs and 200 PRR can't do anything to survive the 5435 shot.
5400*(1/3)=1800
I agree that damage should so high that a single melee shouldn't be able to aggro a room, or a whole bunch of mobs at the same time. However, this 1 shot kills just bypass the game mechanics entirely, it is like playing one of those "nightmare" cheat modes (Goldeneye anyone?).
The direction of upping damage is not necessarily stupid, but the level to which it was done is, IMHO. A mob should hit for 1500 raw damage a hit MAXIMUM, IMHO. That would still be very challenging, but avoid simply bypassing all mechanics in place.
