What is the plan going forward on the servers ? Is the lag the new norm or do you plan or moving or fixing the issue ? We the paying customers are paying for a product we cant play while at the same time paying for consumables that cost real USD. What is the plan and what plan do you have for compensation ?

The worst thing they can do right now is be silent. It allows our minds to fill the silence with our own ideas/concepts. This allows the public to ponder 'why' they aren't doing or saying anything, and as a result, conspiracy eventually comes about. Looking back at the timeline, I can easily see how this might be on purpose, and the intent is to try and get a bit more money out of customers while allowing the game to die. Easiest way to see, our devs, if the game dies due to inaction to fix the problem (treated by virtually EVERY company in existence as gross negligence of core responsibilities), will they still have jobs with Turbine? Will they be equivalent in pay/benefits? If so, that pretty much proves Turbine wants the game to die, and we're being lied to. Otherwise, our devs would most likely be punished for not fixing, and/or not trying to keep open communication which leads to a calmer customer base more likely to stick around through the troubles...
DEVS: open, transparent, continuous communication prevents these sorts of thoughts. Please do so.

You are right of course. But that would appear to violate some kind of policy. I base that assumption only on actions, since there are no words from Turbine.

Oh, I agree, they must be being told to NOT communicate, which raises my suspicions even more. All we're seeing is pictures of pie eating, celebrating, and responses about pumpkin, cookies, coffee, and +0 items, with an extremely rare comment that barely tangentially touches the issue.

If you want to find out what they are doing, go to the lotro forums. The executive producer has been nothing but open and forthcoming about what is going on with lotro's lag, which according to conspiracy theorists is also tied to the lag of ddo.
Guess lotro has more love from it's parents then it's older dying step-sister ddo.
