Greeting Wayfinder,
I am a returning player after about 4 years. My main toons are on Khyber, but with all the new changes to the game, I have decided to start fresh on a new server. My wife, My son, and I are currently running toons from level one and plan to move quickly. We are all VIP so we will opening everything on Elite.
Look for Trodore at about 5:00pm est. We are currently level 3 so all level 2 dungeons will be done tonight. If you are looking to run up quickly, please let us know.
If there are any guilds looking for active players, let us know as well. If not, we may start our own guild and build completely new.

Hi & welcome back.
If you are looking for a guild please check with FranĀ“s Thread in the Wayfinder Gilden (https://www.ddo.com/forums/forumdisplay.php/255-Wayfinder-Gilden) subforum.
I am sure there will be a lot of guilds welcoming you and your family, mine included (Haus Feuerfuchs). The real question would be: What kind of guild are you (and your family) looking for. Some guilds are more friendly for the casual player, some are more active than others and some are catering to the needs of the more veteran ones. We e.g. are a family friendly and very liberal open-for-all guild with only a few rules (guild chest - never put anyting into them that you may need in the future; inactivity more than 6 months - you need to reapply for guild membership upon return). If you like a more active and hardcore gaming approach, you may want to apply for membership in Denetsu no Samurai or Superiority Complex. Since your family is joining you on Wayfinder, why not trying out 3 guilds and then settle for the most suiting?
Wayfinder anyways is a tight-knit community where guild membership counts less than on other servers. Better to join the raid channel on Wayfinder where you may find likeminded adventurers easier than in your guild at given times. Check out /joinchannel wayfinderraids. Very recommended.

When I started playing this game, back in 2006, I had a very large social network and had a lot of friends that my wife and I hung out with and just had fun. That is really what I am looking for, and why I am hitting the restart button. I am willing to help anyone that needs it.
If you are favor running and simply need someone to open a quest on elite for you, I am more than willing.
When I have the TP, and am running some adventure pack, I have no problem giving a guest pass to a friend to get them in for the favor and xp.
If I need a healer to run something, I have no problem buying scrolls and wands to help them with the healing.
If you are in a group with us and you see something drop that can help you, all you have to do is ask.
And I would like people who are patients with those of us who might be a new or a little rusty and not just zerging through everything.

Your Part Time Guild is the large, open door guild on server. We're up to 650+ members now, over 500 active, although active is relative on server, since many only play infrequently for favor runs. Regardless, we tend to have 20+ logged in at peak, with a record high of 65 online at once recently (a server record also).
Also concur with prior post about the Raid chat channel, type /joinchannel wayfinderraids -- to get connected and aware of scheduled Raids.
Wayfinder is different, was the former German language server, but just another server among all now, with about 1/10th the population of the larger servers, but we've grown a bit lately.
