I assume Aborrea is the go to for the +20 MP and synergy on a barbarian.

Anyone using anything different? I am looking at Scion of Earth on mine and adding a spell power item for the +20 PRR and 2d20 acid damage, which if I am doing the math right should do somewhere around 90ish dmg with 350+ spell power.

There are other solid choices.

What are you using and why?

I am interested.

arborea scales your damage and also your heals, i think its by far the best choice for a barb even if its not the most dps.

plus the thought of trying to fit spp into a barb gear set up sounds horrible. and heretical.

Scion of Earth's PRR or Feywild's 20 HAMP would probably come out or about the same as the healing provided by 20 PRR. I can't say that for certain until all the math is formulated. I think where it pulls ahead would probably be all the micro things MP contributes to damage pool.

Heretical, but one augment or gear switch wouldn't be to horrible to work out.

the more damage you deal, the faster things die. the faster things die, the sooner you proc heals. 20 mp also increases the healing.

20 prr or 20 hamp dont have the double benefit of the mp.

20 HAmp and 20 MP is exactly the same in terms of healing from ravager procs. HAmp is of course generally better since it also works on other sources of incoming healing.
The damage between arborea and scion of earth/feywild should be pretty even, if you can fit in the spellpower somewhere (for example average at 350 spellpower is 94.5 damage per hit).
Another thing to consider though is that mobs in legendary content have quite high elemental resistances. In Curse the sky for example 90% of the mobs have more than 100 acid resitance or immunity it seems... MP from arborea obviously doesn't have that problem.

Personally I tend to scion of earth for the extra PRR.
Worst thing about arborea is that it breaks celestias, which are kind of important for shroud.

I wouldn't say there's a be all end all feat. They all have pros and cons.
