Build Request: Vampire Warlock

Been liking my current warlock a lot, and, well, naturally I gravitate to Pale Masters, so, was wondering, how to best build a Vampiric Warlock? I normally make my own builds, but want to see what the best builders come up with... Best I can think is maybe Morninglord, use a +1 heart, go 7 Wizard (for 4th level spells - death aura and neg burst), and rest warlock... As a more castery type toon, avoid ES tree, instead go pretty heavy into SE/TS to get the consume/stricken line and go for maybe enervating? But, I'm not certain... So, I throw this out to the builders, what is the tightest Vampiric Warlock build we can do? Thinking this will be my next life. Only restrictions that are definite - no PDK/WF/BF, and would prefer to go GOO'lock or Fiend lock.

Wow, that's a pretty sexy feat! See, I'm so used to playing Melee's, I have no idea how to build casters Lol, never even thought of that feat Lol, think this might be why I need help on this build!

Why keep the aura, btw? I would think a squishy type shouldn't be running up and into the middle of enemies, especially in the newer content... Wouldn't something else, like Chain, Cone, etc, be better and keep some distance between me and the bad guys trying to squish?
