When will Cannith crating be fixed?

I'm back at this game again and I found that the Cannith crafting system is broken. Is there any indication as to when this might be fixed?

Devs have mentioned it will be fixed before Update 31. Which means that it will be the Thursday before that :p

Yeah, I have that issue too... I've had to relent and I started to vendor trash stuff because I ran out of characters to store them on.

When the DDO Starter Packs were on sale for a $1.50 from the DDO Market I got 10. After Christmas during the last renoun weekend I was so constipated with loot, that I could not participate. I made 10 new accounts and the Starter Pack gave me a total of 4 charecter slots for each account. I made alts for:


Armor
Belts
Gloves
Bracers
etc.


I multiple box. I have my toon that I'm working on my main computer and I go shopping on my alts on the laptop and mail or pass gear. I also did this, because I wanted to keep pre-U29 loot seperated from post-U29 loot.

None, because you can't craft onto the new lootgen anyway. Or actually, you can. You can spend hundreds of Essences creating shards and apply them to the new lootgen items which can be stripped down using Dust of Disjunction (but not Deconstructed for Essences). But then the item will be destroyed whenever they apply their fix, so why bother?


•NEW: Cannith Crafting does not work correctly with new randomly-generated items. Please do not craft onto new randomly-generated items as these particular Cannith Crafted items will be destroyed in an upcoming patch.

The worst part of this is that there are bound to be a great many players who don't follow the forums and don't read the known issues list who will be screwed by this since they won't see this obscure warning.

Putting the warning on the launcher would be the smart and customer service oriented thing to do.

No, do people actually do that? You know that you can use one mouse and have it move a pointer on multiple computers, right? So you just minimize the game on the boxes you don't want to have inadvertent clicks acting on, and work on the second computer.

Or just run multiple instances of the game on the same computer, which I assume is possible although I've never tried it. I did once get an error after logging back in from a crash to desktop that someone else was logged in using my account and then it quit to desktop again, but you have multiple accounts so that should not be an issue for you.

I hope it gets fixed soon, because honestly, in all the years I've been playing this game, this is the first time I've felt I just don't want to play until that gets taken care of :( I know lots of people love the new loot, but for me it's just one more thing to make room for. I wish they'd consolidate some of the old loot systems (dragonshards? giant relics?) before adding new stuff (LGS, new RNG?)

I play six toons on only 2 computers laptop and desktop. At most I will only use 2 mice if I'm controlling 2 toons at once.

Ooops forgot, yes you can run multiple instances and accounts on 1 computer and alt_tab between them. I usually do 3 on the main and 3 on the laptop. Planning helps. I sometimes fight with 2 toons at once and each machine has a back up toon in case one falls I alt+tab and start hammering away with the next toon or raise etc.
