are Riposte items fixed or not?

Just before Christmas, we all got a warning about not equipping Riposte items because it was causing a game lag issue. I don't see anything in the latest "known issues" thread, but I also didn't see any update note that said it had been fixed.

So...is it safe to equip these items or not? Anyone know?

They fixed it in a hotfix shortly after the notice. Due to the lag they caused, it was kinda important.
