How do I increase the max Dodge chance of my character? .

I know there are some destinies, that will raise the max dex % chance up, but what should my base max dodge chance be? and what is it based upon?

My character is a WF Arti, with a base dex of 16, and after tomes, enhancements and stuff, I have a 38 dex. I took Mithral body, and the mithral fluidity feats, to give myself LA and to raise the dex bonus, but I noticed that on my docent, it does not state what my max dex bonus should be.

Help would be appreciated.

Docents don't have MDB (they are basically a magic gem/trinket stuck in your chest, think Iron Man) Your body feat determines your MDB. If you hover over your "mithral body" feat it will show a number. However I believe the description is out of date. You probably already know you can hover over your AC in the character sheet and see your current max Dodge and dodge. I know Adamantine body says +1 max dex. but it appears you actually get 3 MBD. Maybe they updated it without changing the description or WF get a base of 2 no matter what? I don't know never looked into it.

Its the Mithral body feat, that kills the dodge % chance. Just made a new WF and at level 1 without that feat, he has a 25% to max dodge.

There are two things to keep in mind when trying to optimize your Dodge bonus:

The max Dodge bonus starts at 25% and can be raised by class Enhancements, halfling Nimble Reaction, and the Fencing Master guildship buff.
The max DEX bonus (http://ddowiki.com/page/Maximum_dexterity_bonus) (MDB) of your armor, which will also cap your Dodge bonus. MDB can be raised by the Mobility feat, enhancements, etc.

Your Dodge bonus will always be capped by the lower of these two values. As you've noticed, Mithral Body has MDB 5 and (unlike light armor) doesn't scale up with level. :(

So if you're playing a pure arty, you're probably better off taking Adamantine Body instead of Mithral; the extra PRR is more valuable than the +4 MDB, IMHO. But if you're planning on adding Evasion - either thru rog / monk splash or using Shadowdancer - then you have to decide between Mithral Body for added PRR or no body feat for the extra Dodge.
