is filled with dishonorable people that are wicked and deceitful. I just want to discuss how they use teamspeak to trash talk everyone that isn't In their click. And the whole DDO council thing is just a way for braggarts to brag and this game is become exactly like world of Warcraft full of (feminine hygiene products). I don't mind being on the fringe of such people and I squelch them where I find them because it puts me in good company. I just thought you should know my opinion and that my voice should be heard amid the din of so many worthless people that are going the way of the dinosaur. Don't forget to polish the brass in the 12 before you depart.

If there are any other disgruntled players out there that are sick of these elitist scum then join my groups I play hooper tslanil throndar frowning and scrollrack and as long as your not in *names removed* or any of those guilds that think they are cool your welcome to join. They will tell you anything and everything to keep you from playing with me and all I can tell you is the truth. I play for fun and amusement and its not serious for me until I run into people like them that are very serious about it(?) They often talk of honor but they really have none they lie in wait for good people because they are not good people and they speak behind your back in teamspeak because they are too cowardly to type into chat or speak on the server chat. To you that wont be likened to them I say be not afraid of them because their way is the way of the dead and the dying and when they are all gone the meek will remain!
These so called "great players" on ghallanda are among those I gladly decline.

You might want to remove the Guildnames as naming and shaming is against the rules.

Otherwise good luck.

As a proud member of one of those elitist guilds "Captain's Crew" I endorse your post as you being one of those individuals that have difficulty playing the game and some issues coming to grasp with the nuances. The upper level guilds took a long time to learn the game and we no longer desire to teach or carry poor players such as yourself. `

Hey, guys should be using those hygiene products too!

As for the rest of your post, there's no reason to come to the forums and complain. Ghallanda is clicky, but it doesn't matter. You removed the names, but if the responses in this thread are any indication, I'll mail you some endgame raiding channels where those people are blacklisted. Truthfully, I'm surprised by the name listed later in the thread. He's actually a very nice person and one of the few competent players in his guild. Still, I guess we all have bad days.

Maybe elite's not for you. There are other settings more suited to your ability and playstyle.

I don't understand the point of the OP. Really. I don't.

Still trying. Nope. Still can't figure it out.

Look, here's the thing. There are A* holes every where you go, but I've never, save for a handful of players, come across anyone in Ghallanda worth complaining about on the forums. Never have I ran with a "bad" guild either. Sure, in the span of 6 years, I've squelched a couple of people. But a bad guild. Nah. Unless I'm in one of your "bad guilds". Which I doubt. Whoever you named, I'm sure I've run with them. All good people, and I've learned from each of them in some way.

Oh...just an update...still don't understand the point of the OP.

So I read your post there OP and I chuckle to myself. You seem have made a thread directly calling out a group of people "and anyone else you think they are cool with" for making you feel bad about something?

Let me put it like this. My guild, Ravensguard, has always been know for being rude among many other things. We use ventrilo for almost everything, to the point that some guild members don't raid with us because they didn't know we were forming one due to not being active on vent or reading guild chat (if we remembered to put anything into chat). We some times talk about people, both positive and negative, but the main reason for the chat is to talk to ourselves regarding whatever without including those outside the conversation. I assume many other guilds that use chats like mumble, ventrilo, or team speak do the same. You make it seem like they are wrong for saying things outside of game that could be offensive or non inclusive in game.

I personally find your post humorous though for even after it being edited I know that you are talking about a guild that use to be used as an insult due to them being the korthos army. Funny thing is that they became good players with the time that some of them invested into each other. That said I still only respect some of them, and I view some of them are nothing better then a backpack slot in any quest. For that matter I can say that about some of my own guild when people are dusting off characters or playing a class they hate for the past life.

All I can say there OP is cowboy up. Include whomever you wish in your runs, but if you desire to be seen as a person of high moral fiber, I would recommend that you act the part first (for your post seems to go against that.) Secondly, I would say not to paint a target on yourself. To wear one of those ugly shirts with that N and Y printed on it in Boston would cause you to have people say things, for you are the outsider which makes you an easy target. That does not make you respond with trashing them, It should make you feel empowered for are they only saying things due it being on their terms.

Best of luck to you regardless. If i happen to see you in game then good. If not, then good. It will not effect me as I play this game, and will effect me even less when I am not. I will say though that if my guild is on your 'list' then feel free to keep it there, your entitled to your own blind opinion of people. Just be mindful, that entitlement can be use back at you.

To be fair, even your own guild leader hated you so much he tried to sell you on ebay. Ravensguard, back when they were relevant, was DDO's own version of the Stanford Prison Experiment.

I'll let you behind the curtain, one of us was twitching a run, and teamspeak was active so an honest assessment became public, and yes there was some alcohol involved so the filters were off

Ah right...I see. I've made that mistake a time or two. Sometimes honesty is a good thing for us to hear, although not always easy to swallow. .. ..Could make a comment here, but I'll refrain. Don't want him mad at me too and all.

You know I find that very humorous, for I am the guild leader in keg's absence. RG may not be as active as it once was, but those of us that are from the old days hold true to what we were. The question being is were we the guards, the prisoners, or those conducting the study in the experiment, for only one of them stayed sane though they all got stronger.

This thread is interesting,

I remember a time in DDO, when trash talking and complete discrimination was common place, IN GAME, IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. I remember getting kicked from parties because I didn't have the correct weapon or even being Drow and people would MyDDO you to review your entire toon, before even letting you party. Back when guilds had trials and tests you had to go through to PROVE you where what THEY wanted. You where winged for weeks or months before getting into a "click".

Now, some people have shared an insight into this, a peak behind closed doors. Most of the people who some would call "Elitests" or "EndGamers" have one glorious thing in common, they are made of the "right stuff". They have the Drive to get what they want, through all the mud, comments, put downs, stories, failures, you name it. It's all water off a ducks back. In the end, they win respect amoung those who share those deeds and traits.

Length of play doesn't earn you respect, actions earn you respect. And what this thread sounds like, is someone who wants respect given, not one who earned it.

Does psychology transfer from the game world to the real world, does this post give people insight to how you are as a person, I have no idea. I'm de-threat, the opposite of threatening and I play Drow.

What happened is that the game became so easy that the elitists found themselves becoming the jokes and the ones in the outs. When you alienate a whole server and become blacklisted while the game becomes so easy that your "skills" no longer matter and most of your friends leave for other games, you realize you become very lonely with no one left to play with.

And then what do you do? You leave your blacklisted guild, start your own and become a completely different person with a completely different attitude.... or you lack any self awareness, come to the forums complaining about population while not realizing that people just hate you and refuse to run with you.
