Captain's Crew has pushed out 6 runs on live. 2 were tonight.
Day one run was over 2 hours, but with some silly strategeriee we've got it down to a buck 15 average.

....my anecdotal thoughts......

What is Challenging?

One-shotting Every mob is deadly. (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/KillerGameMaster) It is not uncommon for orthons to hit you for 3k before prr, and the trogs to hit you for 2k. Damaze (pt2 earth ele boss) is king with a 4k hit non-crit.
The way to deal with this is stop all incoming trash dps, and beef up to handle the reds.

Coordinating part 2 Do not underestimate the pain that another 15mins in this phase can cost you. 700k hp bosses that hit from 1-3k on average are non-trivial.

Crowd Control

Shiradi effects such as nerve venom, pin, and otto's are great. Earthquake druid works well. Wizards are godly. Bring one.

Spell pen requirements:
Orthons: 55
Trogs: 55
Fiendish Trolls: 57
Bezekira: 57
Fiendish Kobolds: 60

Low 80's enchant DC is ballpark. (Anyone wanna chime in?)

Part 1

at least 2 rangers.
with celestias. Blitzing like mad.
someone with assassin's trick.
couple wizards for crowd control.
If you don't have these things consider making people swap/getting others.

Part 2

If you can't handle the incoming DPS then you will wipe. This is the hardest phase of shroud. Cat/fire-ele can become a nightmare. We failed on this combo on lamma, and have had it once on live.
Having a guy with 3k hp, 140intim, and a pocket healer is actually useful. Have this guy take the cat, orthon, or devil--- w/e is troubling you.
You will need at least ~3 uber players to pull through here. Hop in and try it.

Part 5
Ranged dps is king for Erinyhes and Rakshasa. Remember those people you needed to break the crystal in pt2? Bring that sick guy who still likes playing a monkcher.

Celestia or chaotic beaters are king dps on the book.
2 80 dc enchanters are lovely in here. Makes it easy even with the one-shotting.

I will add mine:

Part 1:

Bring at least 1 furyshotter mechanic with high sneak attack and stack wraking shot on portal (up to 5 times).

Wracking Shot: Ranged Attack: +1[W]. On Damage: Deals 3d6/6d6/9d6 extra damage (scales with 200% Melee Power (http://ddowiki.com/page/Melee_Power)) to constructs and living constructs, and -25% fortification and immunity to sneak attack for 20 seconds.

A cleric with uber healing aura (my new first life cleric hit for 240 per tick and 600 on crit and I can make it even better, don't have all gear yet), this prevent melee stopping hit portal to use heal of some sort like cocoon, meaning more dps on portal.
I think one good cc is enough, my bard can hold/dance anything in there a part from gnoll in part 4.

Part 2:

This is more about coordination than anything else...yeah they hit like truck but some good player can survive this mess, even with no tank. For sure the hardest part if people do not coordinate properly.
Warlock with Hurl trough hell can oneshot crystal.

Part 3:

Easy enough...only threat is wall

Part4:

If one round isn't enough, use anything that can make gnoll helpless....otto, balanced attack, nerve venom, the faster you are killing gnoll the better.

Part 5:

A good CC player can make this part very easy, if he can control all 4 trash spawn point, unless you have some genius removing you're otto dance with cyclonic blast (yes it does still happen, even after telling them to stop)
A healer with enlarge.
Bring any spell absorption item you have for rakshasa hellball.
