So, I hope this will strictly be nostalgia and not the state of things to come. So as we're waiting for the worlds to return (ideally this week, and ideally back to normal), I figured I'd just ask if anything funny caught your attention. The new loot that I saw for an hour was more powerful than DMX riding a dinosaur--with both parties brandishing Chinese AKs.

So to kick it off...

A guildie posted a L13 pair of goggles with +20 Remove Traps and +15 UMD... I'll just leave that there a sec.

The second...

I pulled an ML 22 +11 Str. Ring with Dodge 13%...

By level comparison...

L28 Many-Hooked Greaves (Boots): Insightful Combat Mastery +5, Strength +12, Vertigo +12, Green Augment Slot, Yellow Augment Slot, Quality Vertigo +2

Given, the Greaves are better...but NOT 6 levels better. Also, the dodge bonus makes the Epic Necro stuff look lame.

I only pulled a few things, but these 2 really stuck out.

You guys?

I liked the melee bonuses applied to ranged weapons. Specifically increased melee hate on bows. Did like the increased equipment bonuses for USP though, saw a level 18 shield in a random quest reward that had a +48 bonus to USP, but had something like protection and something else on it not tied to casting. Did get a ml 29 khopesh with huge perks to radiance spell power and crit, though only looked at it fast prior to world going down (saw the numbers and was trying to figure if would be better then Toee set for my warlock, then game went down when I was about to reread it.)

I am not sure they changed the loot with the patch from what I've heard. Did they just fix old broken items but the loot tables are still borked???

I'll screenshot it as soon as I log in, but I pulled a set of Medium armor that has repair lore, repair amp, and something else super geared for a Warforged. This would be great, but the whole "robots don't wear armor" thing.

I saw (still see) this some as well. At first, I thought it was just more turbine tomfoolery, but then I thought about it for a bit, and decided it was probably put in for arti's taking the construct essence line of feats. At least I hope it was intentional for this reason.

I'll confirm that is in fact the reason. :)
